Part 1

Mujhe lagta hain main hoon

Kyunki woh ab mujhse baat karti hain!!

Lines that struck in her heart. Everyone around was rejoicing Viaan's victory. Ehsan was jumping around, hugging his best friend. Jeetu Bhai had announced to other company staff about the verdict that came out. Teji had taken a sigh of relief as she was hugged and congratulated by Farah. After Viaan had forgiven Shamita there, all members were having casual discussions with each other, finally taking a much-needed break, they all went out and only two people were left in the meeting room.

She saw him escaping her eyes as he quietly walked out of the room.

She was relieved at the verdict and was happy that she could in a way help Mr. Raghuvanshi. Entire Earthcon was welcoming Viaan back in the office. As everyone left for the day, she was waiting for the Auto as usual on her way back as Viaan in his car passed through. He stopped and offered her a ride to her home .

Main aapko chod deta hoon.

Nahi Mr. Raghuvanshi aap jayiye ,main chali jaungi.

Please come , I insist.

Katha could not refuse further as she sat in his car. He thanked her for providing the crucial evidence in the case. She smiled at him and recalled his words in that video.

She looked at him , she recalled that night when he had in drunk state asked her Katha tum mujhse baat kyu nahi karti.. And then recalled the last line of his poem- Kyunki ab woh mujhse baat karti hain.. She tried to look at him again, was he really in love with her?

Was that poem for her? There were questions in her mind but was unable to comprehend her response to it. Inside her heart she developed a soft spot for this guy who first challenged her entire belief system with his ONS offer but saved her child. The guy who stood by her when she was frantically searching for her child. The guy who was so deep in guilt that he could not forgive himself and was ready for punishment even in the case where he was not guilty. Those moments spent in lonavala trip, the new friendship she looked forward to, the date that she was looking forward to.. Was that a confession from him? Did he feel something for her? And why isnt she feeling bad about it? Has she started feeling for him too? What made her talk to his mother about his pain like that. Why was she so desperate to find a clue to give clean chit to him?

Katha aapka ghar aa gya, Katha.. Katha u there?

Viaan just made her come out of that train of thoughts she has gone through in last few mins. Quietly she got out of the car and walked towards the building. As she was about to go inside, she looked behind. He was there still looking over. Their eyes met.. So much unsaid emotions.. and so much of it was revealed that day!!

Part 2

Viaan looked at her as she went inside her building. He stayed there for quite sometime recalling events of the evening. All this while he was so eager to say these lines to her and when least expecting they came out in front of everyone- his expression of first love.

Main kuch jyada hi soch rha hu, Shayad woh kuch samjhi hi nahi hogi..

He just started his car and looked once again at that window of her house. He could not believe that she was standing there looking at him through the window.

He just smiled and waved a bye as she also signaled similar expression on the other side.

He drove back to his house, on way back he kept thinking about the whole case. Though Katha brought the evidence in front of board members, this whole investigation made him think about how she will react to his confession of love. Was it too soon for her to forget about that night? Was she ready to move past that night and look at him as he wanted her to?

A part of him was desperately seeking answers for these questions and another part of him just wanted to give some space for time being. Just let it be..

Why will she love a man who she still held responsible for that dark night even though she has forgiven him?

On that window as she looked on as she sees him leaving, a tear fell off her eyes.

Were those lines really for her? Why was she waiting for him to say something after that?

It has been a while since she allowed herself to feel for someone like this, there were mixed emotions that she was experiencing.What if those lines were for someone else, why this thought was bothering her so much?

She looked at the wall in her room, her photos with her Adi. She looked down immediately as if guilty of thinking about someone else instead of him. Her heart had closed its door long back and there was someone banging on that door unexpectedly and in her heart, she knew that she was betraying her Adi. She closed those eyes and let those tears come out.

Dil e barbaad se nikla nahi, ab tak koi..

Iss lute ghar par dia karta hain dastak koi..

Aas jo toot gayi phir se bandhata kyu hain..
