Ranbir's double standards

They always show Ranbir to be have such double standards. On one hand he literally agrees to marry Rhea (for nth time and I forgot the count) and yet he does not want Prachi to say yes to Akshay or anyone else. Why he expects Prachi to not move on and yet it is ok for him to move on.
