I haven't watched it. Only read the synopsis on wiki after hearing it's inspired from that drama and i was also like why she chose the salman counterpart but since I didn't saw the drama i thought they might have a lot of scenes.

Here Aaliya and Salman have a solid base. They knew each other for years and are frenemies. Aaliya already has a soft spot for salman as well.

Sajal and sherryar has known each other longer. So she might be close to him as well. We know about sajal and Bilal only because they did a lot of IVs together

In the old one the boss had a wife. So i guess that might be one of the reasons why she choose the other guy.

From the ost scenes and dildara song i doubt Aaliya will have any romantic feelings for asfar. She might end up being friends with him and have empathy for him due to his story with his father but the chances of her having romantic feelings are very less. She already started having a thing for salman anyways and Salman don't look like someone that's gonna screw up things for her to look for other options.

nahh her comfort level with bilal is something else. Sajal and sherry only recently started following each other.
