So true. Even now look at the views of chand tara and the views ktk used to get. Danish is playing a normal sober character in chand tara and nobody cares but when he plays toxic problematic macho characters the views on YouTube easily hits more than 10-20m each episode🤢

Look at the views per episode of kaisi Teri khudgarzi and chand tara. Both has danish taimoor as the lead. One he played a toxic character and in another a sweet sober guy. The viewership difference is huge

the laughable thing is audience give so less margine to a fl,if they commit a mistake then they are cancelled,unforgivable and when ml does unforgivable sin like rape then he could be forgiven and have a happily ever after and audience will accept it with open arms!What a hypocrisy.I never watched the show but hearing the things the ml has done is enough to make my blood boil🤬

Haven't watched mpht but meerab is a badly written character not flawed. Kasaf is a well written flawed character, guddi in mushk is a flawed grey character. If we put kasaf in a real life scenario she is a hard person to be with. She had insecurities and inferiority complex, hated rich people simply because they had Money and she didnt and is usually rude to everyone and bitter in life. I truly appreciate that University friend of hers for staying friends with her 😆. But she is also one of the most loved Pakistani character ever because she is portrayed onscreen in a way the audience are able to connect with her and understand her. Sassi from o rangrezan was toxic and grey but the entire drama revolved around her so she is well written and the drama was a hit.

The main problem is toxicity in male characters are seen as macho alpha male but toxicity in female characters are seen as toxicity only. Male characters get a leeway because we as a society don't expect much from men 🤣. They do the bare minimum and we accept it because we expect worst than that from them🤣

Meerub is an egotistic girl who is taking wrong decisions just because she is too stubborn to see the good in her life. She will suffer for that too in future. She is not glorified yet.

When Egotistic Guys take wrong decisions and cause problem in the life of heroine. They get away with it. Girls swoon over their swag and forget their mistakes and crimes. Just because the guys are focused on heroine and doing crimes in the name of love .They are glorified 🤔

Even Mahir is flawed character and her character is not written properly either. But still she get bashed for being insensitive. In some ways I can relate to all 3 characters in MPHT.

i dont have problem with flawed fls but they have to be written in a proper manner,I dont watch TB,but Mahi is not a well written character,if she was given a point of view as to what her thoughts are and all then it would have been so much better,her character is totally ignored in mpht bcs its written in a pretty weak manner.

It's mostly the way a character is written and shown on screen. They always show toxic fl as annoying and in negative light whereas the toxic ml as rich, stylish and attractive guy.
