I get your point.
But it is still unfair to kick out the person or gang against them or deny them work.
Regardless of clout factor.
I am surprised at the sheer unity industry has even among rivals. Like for eg, all Khans stopped working with Ash after that fiasco on Chalte chalte sets while no one banned Salman who created ruckus. And all A listers began to avoid PC and she was left to make do with Shahid or newbies like Ranbir, Ranveer or offbeat films. And Vivek was forced to do side roles in regional films.
This gang mentality does deserve to be called out.
I mean why not break up and leave it instead of ensuring other guy or girl gets no work and is ousted from big banners, big star films and media slanders him or her and they lose even big brands and endorsements?
It is not like PC did a Kangana or Rekha or Parveen in her obsession with SRK or Akshay so the ganging against her was kind of unfair and harsh.
Didn't PC join that group as Gauri's friend - had an affair with Gauri's husband and then leaked stories about how pathetic Gauri and other star wives were in some skewed belief that it would humiliate Gauri enough to leave SRK? It could and should not have been a shock if she was kicked out of that friend's group (which soon disintegrated for other personal reasons). Or that one of Gauri's closest friend's KJO did not want to give PC work any more or that other star's wives didn't want her working with their husbands.
Even so Hritihk had her in Krish 3 post Agneepath, SLB gave her a film, Zoya as well and Salman offered her Bharat which she walked out on with 11 days until filming - all the while her affair with SRK was reportedly continuing. No one is owed a movie role, no one is compelled to hire someone they don't like. Burn enough bridges and you don't get as much work - that's true for every field unless you're huge enough that you're the one in position to pick and choose.
