Today's episode had a very major moment and i felt that it came quite abruptly 🤔.

Teji needed to know that she is unknowingly responsible for Viaan's state at that moment. Katha asked the right question, but I wonder what made her ask that question so bluntly to Teji. It was like getting into personal space of Teji and Viaan's equation. I understand that writers wanted Teji to have a realisation of how lonely she has made Viaan feel all these years but why trigger had to be Katha. If I consider another point of view , I feel that Katha has a strong feeling for Viaan, she feels protective about him, concerned about what he is going to loose in this trial and on top of it she has guts to say to his mother that look you broke this man and you cannot even feel his pain. It would have been nice if writers had a small monologue for Katha after that scene to show us why did she say all that to Teji?

Teji - Viaan's scene was nice and I loved the reference made to Jo beet gayi woh baat gayi poem and next day carry forward in breakfast scene of a man who is ready to face the decision but is again hiding emotions from his mother protecting her and giving her confidence that he is always there for her. I like that he wants to be her strength but when her mother got emotional thinking how lonely she has made him all these years, I felt like a son could have his moment of weakness after all he has gone through.

Aarav- Viaan scene seems quite cliched but coming from Teji's scene here, one could relate why Viaan wanted to be there for Aarav in this competition because he never had anyone cheering him up in his childhood so a soft spot for Aarav at this stage is understandable. However, what happened to that mother who said Aarav is her top priority.

Shamita's chapter is gonna close tomorrow then lets party for that 🥳

Why is everyone's guilt trip so short in this show? Just one episode..whereas Viaan's guilt is never ending 😆 83 episodes!!

In my possibly unpopular opinion, PapaG’s rejection & harsh ‘curses’ were far more traumatising than the ONS, yet Katha has conveniently forgiven & forgotten. She did not even particularly take it to heart in the first place. Lets not forget that Papa G knowingly behaved abominably, while Viaan behaved shamefully under a misapprehesion. Yet PapaG’s guilt melted her faster than an icecream on a summer afternoon, while Viaan’s remorse has barely made a dent.

Methinks Katha feels some shame for having accepted the deal (just to clarify, I dont think it is shameful) - she doesnt want to forgive Viaan coz as long as she holds him responsible she can let herself off the hook for accepting the deal.

It’s the writing, although compared to other shows this is 👍🏼👍🏼. I wonder why Kavita didn’t support her financially through the ordeal.
Also, was surprised Katha wasn’t angry when Papa happily took Aarav home and she had no idea where he was. it didn’t seem real. But this trait of not getting emotional over everything is quite refreshing. Hopefully she will extend it to Viaan too.

Yes, I agree, as long as we blame another, we can take the focus off of ourselves. And then we get stuck in that line of thinking. Maybe Dodo helped ease the blame off a bit.. plus, he helped find Aarav. I am forgetting some parts of the story already! 🤷‍♀️

I don’t know why Teji’s was part of this 😳😳. It just cropped up and took me by surprise. Imagine Teji’s surprise! They just put a few scenes together to maybe what is coming in the next few weeks? Anyway, mother and son bonded over their importance to each other and it’s always nice to see that. 😍 Such a simple man. Let’s go as easily too.

I agree that Katha has strong feeling for Viaan! Hence all the big eyes and stares. Katha does not do monologue. Ever. The beauty of it is, we can let our imagination run wild about her thoughts. Sky is the limit. Make the most of it. Because I suspect Viaan will be the only one pouring his heart, mind and eyes out. We have to make up on the other side.

Waiting for these two to bond and grow their relationship into something beautiful.

Yeah she just had one monologue after Shamita's thing came out which made some clarity of what she felt about Viaan and ONS when she said she felt that on other end of that night was another broken man more broken than her. She understands his pain and has audacity to directly question the culprit regarding it. This shows katha is affected by his pain and she wanted his mother to know that she is reason behind Viaan's every emotional turmoil in life. Though her actions tell us and her face after she asked the question could reveal that she was herself shocked at what she asked.. but it would have been nice to just add one monologue on Katha's own confusion at her question to teji like why does it matter to her so much?

M, I do understand you. But having lived life at its messiest, I can tell you that rational people behave really stupidly at times.

I understand Viaan because I live my life by my principles, and I beat myself up if ever I make a mistake. The problem with Viaan is that he never really interacted with other women besides Teji and Farah. He always kept women at a distance while judging them. I don't think that he was deliberately unfair as most of his staff spoke well about him but he never really considered whether he was actually fair....if that makes sense? I understand Viaan's lack of boundaries towards Katha. If a person has been a loner throughout his life and suddenly meets another person who awakens something within him, Viaan is bound to cross some limits. The man didn't even know that he was attracted towards Katha! He was so messes up that he proposed ONS to her and actually went through with it.

As for Katha, it's easy for me to say that the ONS was her choice and a deal but in truth, Katha is not someone who goes around making such deals. Circumstances forced her to accept the deal as the consequence of not going through might have resulted in losing Aarav forever. Katha had not been with anyone else besides her husband. Being with Viaan might have felt like a betrayal to her. Katha is an inherently good person. She tried to forgive Viaan but from her POV, she was forced to go through the ONS. She has been scarred by the ONS. Obviously there's pent up anger, resentment and even some bitterness towards Viaan. Is there hate also? Maybe. But Katha is not used to such dark emotions. She does not know how to deal with them so she ignores them and keeps them all bottled up inside of her. How does any woman accept having taken moneu for such a deed? To whom does she share this experience with? How does she confess? There's only Viaan. Shamita's track was required to bring all of this to the surface. Yes, the investigation appears stupid and even boring at times. What is being shown is probably not good enough but I am fine with this as ITV has its own limitations.

I do not feel that Viaan and Katha are toxic for each other. In this situation, they actually need each other to heal themselves. Once they have a proper confrontation about the ONS...let there be shouting, anger, bitterness but at least let them clear the air and find some relief...they can then go their separate ways and reflect on their future. Otherwise how do they move forward?

I just shared my way of looking at the track and the situation.

I love how you are so protective of the show..i too feel the same...the show does have some flaws but very few which can be overlooked due to the positives..The way you have analysed Katha is very beautiful..See the story itself is based on the ONS ..so what is the need for dissecting why and who was more guilty..As you said Katha ia not someone who would make such deals ..her circumstances made her so it..she feel she is justified because she has done for her son and her pent up anger just caused the outburst because Viaan was defending himself so vehemently....i felt her question was a natural response under the circumstances..and every actor need not be verbal to express the feelings.. Aditia emotions just sums up what Katha ia feeling.

I too hope so that this teaser actually comes true tomorrow and the makers again don't delay it...

I loved Teji and Viaan today . No mother and son can live with their bad feeling for each other for long hours......It was good convo

Even though Katha suddenly invaded into Teji and Viaan's personal space , I feel like someone had to show her mirror . Now may be her dislike for Kathaa will decrease.

Viaan is searching his childhood in Araav I feel .

Not a bad episode and promo is also good .

When Kathaa brings the proof wont the other committee members consider her biased . Shamitha has already said about company doing favour for Kathaa .

For me katha should have not proved him innocent by approaching Keith .
