yup, i mean there is no doubt that she has lived a VERY pampered life. She always got she wanted. There was no struggle or anything. Her father and mother agrees to all her demands. I think in the initial episode, even murtasim points out something like we say no but somehow waqas convinces ma begum and meerab ends up with what she wants..But like you said, she was not selfish. She cared for people she that mattered to her.
As for her rudeness with murtasim, i somehow feel its her way to protect herself. She is rude to him because she doesnt want to show that he affects him. His closeness does affect him but she pretends or tries to pretend.. and murtasim knows this now..Meerab is flawed for sure but i wish we had monologues for her inner turmoils..
@B1-I'll say that she is selfless,as ruhail explained her.

@B2- Now this,this is something you are saying with your brain's logic as an apparent reason of her behaviour to justify her actions even after murtasim had done so much for her than what can be possible or strong reason can explain her cold behaviour.
Tell me any monolgue,any scene which will prove that what you are saying is exactly been shown.
Anything in the show,writing,or merab's behaviour which can back your assumptions.
It had been 26 episodes tell me only one incidence which can explain her rudeness towards or I'll say only Reserved for Murtasim is way of protecting herself.
Becoz I am done,I can't on with my brains logic or my assumption without backing of writing or character's insight.
In some scenes,its good but when everything depends on assumptions than every assumption is correct.
