Word....that is why this scene came across so well cuz Katha ka inner conflict came through better than the previous week with that chai scene....here it was that palpable sense from BOTH sides ki ek dusre ko dekhne ka, baat karne ka mann hai but they will hold themselves back for different reasons.
And I meant to reply to your earlier post in more detail....sach mein woh Viaan ki eyes ka woh panic, woh jaise jaan nikal gayi ho in fear of almost losing her and then the "phew" kind of breath that he released in relief when she assured him she's ok....you could actually feel the weight of it without going overboard in heavy duty dialogues of "tumhein kuch ho jaata toh" blah blah....lol....you could sense it all through their eyes only....and then the way he backed off when Katha pulled her hands back....the hurt and then the rush to clarify to her that he wasn't trying to talk to her....phir even more hurt in his eyes when she just turns and leaves.....like you said, uska haath even reached out to try and stop the traffic for her as she was trying to cross the road....itna palpable connection dikhaya dono ke beech mein is scene mein.....solid stuff.
