Ofcourse we watch show for entertainment not to do social service.

But it's actually worry some when a show writer who is modern lady calls maa Begum supporting mother in law when she was shown considering her daughter in law as object for her son.

When a director unbashedly says meerab problems are self created. Did she imagined getting abandoned by her parents, getting forced to marry, getting judged for wanting to have freedom to call all these issues as self created?

It's like normalising trauma by saying the victim self created her problems.

People like hasaan so called reviewers grown up man , public figure shame female character just for wanting to meet her male friend who confessed his love.

But he absolutely didn't have any problem with murtasim, haya scenes where murtasim didn't mind haya doing wife duties.

I am not talking about fangirls. I am talking about these public figures and their mindset.

It has nothing to do with feminism. It's blatant visible misagonism from public figures who can influence many people badly.

she is not portrayed in a bad light, it is our preconditioned brian that expects women to behave in certain ways. The moment she defies those expectations we pass judgement on her. When we can take a man as he is, why not a woman. Meerab only owes herself explanations, all we ask is please tell us as well I am running out of ideas.

There are no rules in love.

Even the two persons, in love, have their own individual journey towards loving each other and none of it is right or wrong.

Love is quite intangible that way.

That is the reason why I am holding Meerab's journey towards loving her husband as dearly as I hold Murtasim's love for his wife.

He fell first, no doubt, but she will fall too and accept all the ways he loves. He will accept hers too.

He should understand only love is not enough, freedom to have a career not matter rich you are, freedom to have friends irrespective of gender, freedom to stay in marriage is also very important. May be Murtasim doesn’t understand that well.

I hope he understands this in future. I also think Meerab won’t be happy till her gets freedom back.

Murtasim should understand if your spouse is not happy with you toh “chodna hi haal hai”
