I think in the second promo of episode 27, Meerab was looking at Anwar because she was looking straight and Anwar was there before her.

He didn't leave her when she doesn't love him, now he knows she loves him but not accepting it so why would he will leave her now.

That scene she stares down her so called family of traitors with tears of disappointment and anger. They have no shame or even any realization.

Her present and future walks away. She cuts them off to go to her future. Don’t paste the contract back, she accepted it was ripped but murtasim puts it back together and passes the burden to her. He has always cleaned up after her not this time baby, this one she must do herself. What is stopping her is that meerab herself is not whole, pieces of her are missing what version of her will become murtasim wife.

Her identity crisis is causing a storm in her and she can’t decide who to become. Perhaps that is why she is talking to old friends to help her remember what she once was so she can make peace with her past. She doesn’t want to live another lie, her life as waqas daughter was a lie, and she doesn’t want her life with Murtasim to be a lie too. That is not just an injustice to her but it is not right for him either. Her past is a failure, her dreams and hopes crashed and burned, but she cant afford her life with murtasim to fail too.

Meerab actually sees herself through Murtaism eyes but does she like what she sees and is she content with that. There is a 2 way battle raging between murtaism wife and past meerab. The past meerab the way she was can she reclaim it back to become his wife NO. Can she just be content with being his wife NO. The past is not good enough and the present is just not enough.

She needs to put the different pieces of herself together and create a new identity one that is forged in fires of mount doom and can’t be destroyed like her previous self. This new version will dare to dream again. But here is the kicker what she wants to do will depend on what murtasim will let her do. This is the test of his character, she has questions only he has all the answers.
