To me it is not about Mrs Sharma being a bad mother. She is definitely a great mother, but we have hardly been shown this bond. Most of the time it is her yelling at him.

I also have few issues. Her reinforcing every minute how grateful Abhir should be to Mr Sharma. I am all for kids understanding the value for money etc, but repeatedly talking about financial hardships. That poor child has been burdened with so much gratitude and is so aware of the money woes.

All this has made this child grow up beyond his age. A 6 year old kid hiding his sickness from his parents so they dont worry, that is so sad.
