The topic came because in kuch ankahi the malvi was cutting out closures that give the women right to divorce and custody of children etc. So when the divorce clouse is cut off she can only go for khula and in khula it's not necessary that the husband has to pay haq mehr if he hasn't given her it yet. I thought khula and divorce were the same but apparently it's different. In khula the husband can stretch the process as much as he wants but if right ro divorce for a woman is written on the nikkah nama then he is bound to give her divorce when she asks for it along with the haq mehr.

Yup khula is different its granted when women claim in court and court grant order .. .. bt divorce right is in men hand ... He jave to announce 3 times to women that he is giving her divorce and she is free from this relationship... In khula husband didn't bound to pay haq mehr ...
