And was he really wrong in what he said to Anupamaa... she trigged him by asking "aap pagal hai" that was insensitive of her and before that he was avoiding her as he didn't want to hurt her. He always has Anupamaa in his mind.
The way Anupamaa is acting... he doesn't know she is hiding her pain... it does seem like she doesn't care much about CA's leaving. Anuj has been nothing but supportive of not just Anupamaa but her ex in-laws as well, from the beginning he has been taking Baa's taunts graciously as he didn't want to stir troubles for then friend, Anupamaa. Anuj treats and respects Bapuji as his own father. He gives due respect and care to Anupamaa's mother and brother more than the Shah's and infact even Anupamaa ever did.
When he said he lost his only Choti it showed just how alone he felt and CA was the only one for him. Are father's not allowed to grief or what
He never said no to keeping the Shah's in his house, he just didn't want Leela disrespecting and hurting his daughter.... he didn't want his daughter to feel neglected why and how is he wrong. He said that Anupamaa only cares of her 3 children.... her behavior is providing him right. When Adhik wanted a break (rightly so) and Pakhi was left on the road... Anupamaa compared Anuj's selfless almost devotional love to a mothers duty... she was all like my daughter is alone let's go find her and when they did... both mother and daughter laid down on the floor . And Anuj supported her... Chalo atleast Pakhi was never an ass to Anuj unlike her parents he knows how to deal with her and she does consider him as her buddy. When it was Anuj-Anupamaa's first partnership pooja or when Anuj tried to make peace with Adhik and Pakhi... she did listen and contemplate on her actions. Pakhi was the first to smaks if they should call Anuj "Dad" so he does hold a space in her life.
Anuj has been nothing but kind to even Toshu... who insulted him before marriage and even now he only used the Kapadia name to attract clients and get out if trouble. When Toshu was in the hospital, Anuj stayed the night and Anuj took care of CA and the house (with the help of Maaya) and never complained about Anupamaa not being their and he understood. Baa was clearly having a temper tantrum when she created that whole scene begging Anupamaa to take care of Toshu. Vanraj can't take care of any responsibility hence he wanted Anupamaa to come. More than Toshu she was serving Baa.... it was never about a mother taking care of her paralyzed son. A child always needs his mother yes... couldn't Anupamaa bring him to her house and get a nurse for her son (as Rakhi and Barkha suggested). Or visit him while CA is at school and come home to her daughter and husband cause even Toshu needs to rest.

Samar- Anuj have a better relationship than not just Vanraj-Samar but also Samar and Anupamaa. Samar looks up to Anuj for advice (love or career). From Anuj saving Samar from the ancient to loan. Samar is paying that back as well (one sibling that contributes to the household and is hard working) During Shivratri it was Anuj who smiled and supported Dimple-Samar and not Anupamaa. I don't think like Baa, Anupamaa too thinks Dimple isn't good enough but she was more concerned but Baa's temper tantrum feeling rather than her son's love which Anuj supported.
Anuj has been nothing but kind to Anupamaa's kids, her family and even her ex in-laws but what does he get in return. His pain is being overlooked by even his friends... Dheeraj is projecting his life's regret of ignoring his wife Priyanka on Anuj. What he and Priyanka went through was miscommunication and ego issues.... it's not what Anupamaa and Anuj are dealing with now or even back when he first entered. Many people divorced, share kids and remarry and have joint custody of their children but still have boundaries which Anupamaa and Vanraj don't..... Anupamaa especially with Baa. Anuj and Kavya aren't wrong in how they feel. Sure Kavya was wrong but imagine your husband's ex living with you after divorce or coming ever single day. Even Kavya has been nothing but kind to Anupamaa nowadays. Even during the affair it was Kavya who felt guilty about hurting Anupamaa and not Vanraj and yet Anupamaa thinks highly of Baa and Vanraj over her own loving family. Barkha-Ankush are much better family members than Baa and family so why does this woman keep running back there.
