@bold: Yes this is a very good point.

I think I saw several tweets about the gulps in mpht and Tere bin and that’s why I mentioned those. Other than that, he’s a wonderfully talented actor. Still, there are some scenes where I didn’t love his acting, or think it’s a little forced, like the dinner date scene. I have also said the same for Yumna. I am truly sorry to offend Wahaj fans - I know I have - but also, people have different opinions. I am a huge Meerasim fan, and a Tere Bin fan, and think Yumna and Wahaj are perfect for the characters. I am however, not a die-hard Wahaj or Yumna fan, despite them being great actors, nothing personal. I can respect their hard work but also personally see some room for improvement in certain respects.

Tere bin is about the intense passionate love murtasim has for his wife. The makers tried to show his passion for meerab by these gestures like gulping, intense staring without blinking, hand touching etc. Since this is a pakistani show and they cannot show his passion in any other way, they resorted to these little gestures which we should be thankful for. And wahaj is potraying exactly as per the character demands.

I didnot see wahaj displaying these gestures in mpht or ishq jalebi because these dramas donot have this tere bin type of extreme love. In mpht, saad's love is selfless, spiritual kind of love. In ishq jalebi, basim's love is playful, affectionate kind of love.
