Ppl can and do fall in love after marrying. Ak finally got what she always wanted - sukoon, understanding, stability, true respect & unconditional support. If she has grown mature enough to choose this over her 1 yr old wild, crazy, fantasy love then her character owns my respect.

This, sadly, is only acceptable in the case of a man marrying a second time like in Yeh Hai Mohubbutay (I had only seen that in bits and pieces when my mom used to watch it). The propagation of these double-standards in our society by women sickens me.

it was acceptable at few places.. like kasauti original where Mr Bajaj and Prerna .. but here the basis of akshara - abhinav relationship is not strong just as it was in Akshara - Abhimanyu.. Abhinav and Akshara are good as parents.. So much better than Abhimanyu.. But their husband-wife relationship is not genuine.. if so they wouldn’t feel awkward sharing bed or room.. I’m not saying a physical relationship.. i would say not even best friends.. because if you’re true friends and have pure feelings , even friends (boys/girls) can share a bed.. a wrong thought or awkwardness will not come in there!

Even I agree on it. They should show Akshu's journey in music instead of this Nav drama.

I'm sorry but the thought that a guy and a girl can platonically share the same bed and nothing would happen seems delusional. I'd say they are married, so they have the license to. But it was made clear from the get go the basis of their relationship was not romance but Abhir. They are only now starting to develop and nurture those romantic feelings towards each other.

About the OG KZK, Twitter didn't exist back then.

my point is akshara is educated, talented .. she shouldnt have shown scared of society and giving a name to a fake relationship! She could have been like how Naira was.. strong minded.. and show a gradual growth in her relationship with Abhinav! And not keeping Abhir in darkness about relations.. And if Abhimanyu starts stalking give him a dialogue on self respect rather than “sindoor and mangalsutra”

Trust me, if it were up to me, Akshara wouldn't even be this cordial with Abhimanyu. She wouldn't feel anything for him, neither love nor hate. Nothing.

If I were writing the story, I'd make them both go to therapy, especially Abhimanyu. I'd keep Shefali true to her character and not need Abhimanyu to fight for herself—she was a no-BS kinda person, not some damsel like Manjari. Akshara would start healing and accept Abhinav wholeheartedly, but they would slowly nurture their relationship instead of fast-tracking through everything. The love (includes respect, trust, compassion, and all the other elements of a healthy relationship) Abhinav would give her would be enough to last her a lifetime that even if he died before her, she wouldn't need any other man, especially that ToxManyu.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if these creatives don't bring the two star-crossed lovers back together. I fear their reunion is exactly what they are planning.

You forgot the biggest ingredient of an ITV lovestory - Soulmatism. That's the ultimate trump card. Baki respect, trust, communication, support sab gya tel lene. ITV writers will show all kinds of illogical/unacceptable stuff - abuse, ema, misunderstandings, divorce, & simply brand it as d journey of soulmates. Voila audience will lap it all up! I so hope u were d writer so we could for once get something refreshing & realistic 🥺🤞. My suggestion don't watch SP shows they all r utter garbage. Instead go for Sony shows they always offer better stories on different themes. Even d famous EK has a good show called Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 airing on it & d love story of its lead pair was really sweet n grounded. No jaaniye fluff, no unnecessary falling n catching, no nibba-nibbi stuff. Its fl was such a strong, no-nonsense, protective of her family type of person. The show took a rushed 1st leap.. didn't follow regularly after that but I remember none of d characters getting butchered. Even fl's step MIL was such a classy n subtle woman nothing like this victim complex patient Manju. U can give it a try if u like mature love stories. Yrkkh is a complete waste of time for audiences like us.

Trust me we all wished for stronger Akshara & sensible Abhimanyu.. alas the writers robbed us of it from the very start :(

Like I said before, they couldn't have repeated Naira's story. They experimented with a new story. Certain things worked out, some didn't. I would also prefer a gradual development in her relationship with Abhinav, but we can still get that. In fact, I believe that's where the show's headed. We can think of theirs as an arranged marriage. Those are not so uncommon in the subcontinent, and people do fall in love after marriage.

I also would have preferred Abhir been made aware from day one, but that's not what happened. We gotta work with what we got. Now that this is the scenario, I would only hope the unveiling of his parentage is handled with utmost sensitivity because if not, the child could be scarred for life.

I recently quit BALH after the leap. I agree that it was way better than this load of crap, but it had its shortcomings. Ram's character was also butchered quite a bit, but never to the level of Abhimanyu's. Abhimanyu was never (and many people are gonna be upset with this claim) an ideal person to begin with. At least, Ram was (somewhat). Idk if you watched that Ishqi wala TV show, but the guy was super toxic in that. Even Dev Dixit (I got a better way to spell it, IYKYK 🤣) was toxic. Loved Sona though.

I really wanna quit TV though. I am hoping quitting for Ramadan will help me with the transition, Insha'Allah. I have quit multiple times in the past, but it just always finds its way back into my life. 😭

People who say that don't understand Akshara at all. Akshara is not some normal random woman.

Her mother naira for example ran away n pretended to be dead just because her character was questioned by karthik and when she came back she was questioned and she apologized. Because she was wrong she had a big support system in the form of maheshwari and singhanias. Naitik and naksh were her constant support. She ran away before because she misunderstood her mom akshara but she came back n apologized. In gen2 Mumbai leap she was living with naitik not alone after the trauma of being blamed for a death. Gen1 akshara never faced this situation because she had the best family and in laws as well as naitik was her constant support.

Here akshara is not like naira or gen1 akshara. She never got unconditional support and love. Her mother died and then in her tender year of growing up she got to know seerat was just arohi's mom, and she lost kartik as well as seerat. N was constantly blamed for seerat death. She went away from udaipur then too, did anyone from goenkas questioned arohi or made her understand that akshara needed a family too? When we say she is selfless, she is selfless because no one thinks about her so she in her mind thinks she is not important enough too. That's y her constant aru Jaap irritated everyone but from where she was coming from was she was seeking love and support.

The trauma for akshara never stopped. She was constantly targeting blamed and harrassed by her own. This is not a normal person. She expected a lot from abhimanyu and when he turned away she was shattered, that's y post leap her anger is towards abhimanyu only. She expects nothing from goenkas or birlas or arohi that's y she is ok with them. While leaving udaipur before leap she in voice note said she shouldn't have come back to udaipur in the first place. Thats just summerized her trauma. She said while leaving udaipur with abhinav that she will never come back to goenkas, n goenkas were unaffected by this statement. This is a huge statement. They were more worried about arohi's life getting affected by akshara's arrival. This sums up why she doesn't seek support from them.

Her relationship with abhinav should be assessed keeping her baground in mind. She was in a very vulnerable situation. Both mentally as well as physically, when she found a person who was ready to support her n her kid unconditionally with utmost love for her kid and respect for her, its quite natural for her to latch on to it.
