Viaan just looked at her as her tears came with a reminder of their past that she had forgotten and was just looking forward to spending some time with him.
Dumbfounded and speechless he stood there as Shamita kept on tarnishing his image in front of the woman he loved. He knew that he was innocent and will come out of the storm that this girl has brought him into but the look on Katha's face broke his heart into pieces. Did she believe what Shamita was saying? He did not care about accusations and every other person present there but indeed her reaction mattered. After all that they have been through, the night that they so wanted to forget was again coming back with those very words of this woman who laid the accusation.
Will she believe me? But why will she? Viaan just nodded a half no to her, he was not even able to properly say to her that no this is not true. May be this is not true now, but he was guilty of these lines at some point. The reminder of that night was clearly visible in her eyes and yes it broke him really bad, brought him back to the reality that he was overlooking in the excitement of finding love in his life. Does he deserve her?

Viaan just got to know that Katha is heading the internal committee who is handling his case. He just smirked at the irony of the situation he was in. After resigning from the office on moral grounds he was just taking a lift for downstairs. So many thoughts disturbing his mind, why will she trust him? She doesn't have to. Suddenly lift door opened and Katha was standing there, a brief eye lock and there they were standing next to each other. Just some days back he had broken all barriers and extended a hand of friendship which she had gladly accepted. Just few days back only he had found his love and now even though standing together in lift they seemed to be like miles apart. Katha noticed his silence,she looked at him with so many questions, but his silence was disturbing her. Why is he not convincing her like Shamita is doing? Why is taking all this and keeping quiet? Why has stepped down from his position? She kept looking at him as he looked straight into nothing noticing her stare. He could have given her all clarifications in the world, but he wanted her to find it on her own. Katha wanted to speak to him so badly but just kept looking at those eyes.

He gulped back the tears in his eyes and looked at her. There were so many emotions between them, some unsaid and some clearly visible. She wanted to trust him thus looking for a small sign from him that all this is untrue. She wanted to know from him whether he was the same man standing there whom she met in that cabin when she came asking for money or was he the man she discovered in their lonavala trip.
'Katha aap jo decide karegi , I will accept that ' He left as door opened leaving her more puzzled than ever before.
He knew she was watching him but he preferred to just keep walking. Some emotions are difficult to explain.
