Not much focus was given while writing the charcter of meerub. If only some monologue was provided, then all this confusion would have reduced.

She was outwardly fighting for nayla bcoz that was morally wrong to make a woman suffer for what men have done. That fight was not only for nayla but for herself as well, she did compare her marriage to nayla while fighting with Murtasim.

But her career is totally diff from nayla issue. She already knows that this whole marriage was to prevent her from studying n hence she is quiet. But she hasn't forgotten it, if she had, she would have accepted Murtasim by now.

OMG Thank you! I thought it was just me who thought these terms were being used too much and in inappropriate situations. However, I thought it might just be something different from a cultural perspective. I had never heard the words toxic and cringe used so pervasively, and being used to describe shows and their characters before, so it was a bit of an adjustment hearing all of this in the TB PTV/ITV world. In my world, toxic is used very deliberately and sparingly, and mostly used to refer to a “situation” or “atmosphere” and rarely to a person unless they are certified pathological toxic personalities. In that respect, Shamsher for KTK definitely had a toxic personality, and that type of character I would agree with. For others, it was not the right word.

And cringe…well it’s usually a word used by teenagers and kids to describe a gross creepy person who physically “disgusts” you. I was confused about why Fushia deemed some of M&M’s bed scenes as almost cringe, for example. Like, to me, there’s nothing cringe about the situation of two married folks getting close or intimate, and there certainly is nothing physically gross about the characters themselves. There is A LOT of difference in word connotations and even cultural nuances I am learning about through this TB fangirling experience, which is also new to me! Wah wah…what an educational experience 😆!

Toxic and cringe are the most absurd and ill-defined terms that today's social media brigade has picked up and has never shut up using it ever since.

Flaws are quickly labelled as toxic and unlikeable stuff into cringe.

So I do not take this opinion even though some points may be valid.

The drama is written, the camera has been shut off, the actors are back to doing other things, there is nothing that can be done.

No use crying over spilled milk. Better make paneer out of it and relish.

I have a very simple approach towards fiction, take it if you like it or leave it

Anything that I do not like, I would not spend a zilch of my time hating it or even pointing out it's flaws. It isn't worth any time and energy.

The villain had one of the close friends of ML's entire family beheaded infront of the King and all the people on the pretext to show they had betrayed the king - cz the dad was one of the Kings close friend, and had saved his life in their younger days.

It was hilarious- the actor playing the villain posted on sm how he had to cover his face almost fully to even walk around outside..

And he even showed text messages of his mother warning him not to come home that day (after his deeds on the show) 🤣🤣
