We don't know how it works in their industry.

It does sound demeaning sitting on a couch and saying this about another actress 'on television' someone you have worked with.

Everyone in the house expects her to adjust to the new life including Murtasim. In epi 1, we get to know that the Khan family doesnt want her to bcm a lawyer n somewhere meerub also knows it. She is not fighting for her dreams outwardly bcoz her pleas will fall on deaf ears. And meerub has already assumed that Murtasim will also not support her for this. She has trust issues still.

There were moments of internal turmoil when she was speaking to rohail, when she remembers her old life and her dreams.

Her fighting is currently with herself (internal turmoil). The day the relationship of meerasim progresses, she will be vocal about her dreams with him.

If we had gotten monologue for meerab, it would have been easier to understand her pov.

I understand the contract part and I agree with her over there.But Meerub is not such a person who will keep quiet if she wants something like in the case of nayla.If she really wanted to do law then she would have done some fighting outwardly after marriage like in nayla case but she did not and her internal turmoil is not shown at all.Nonè of her after marriage scene has any such dialogue as far as I remember.Its just us who r assuming that she wants it.

I am assuming it has been 1 or 2 months to meerasim marriage in the story. So she is meeting Rohail for the first time after 2 months. In between there has been zero communication. He says i loved you. Shows her the proposal ring. Yeh sab sunke bhi she continues to sit there.

The friend whom she has not met for 2 months keeps talking about her husband and her marriage. But she keeps quiet and listens. Does not try to defend him. Does not say let's leave this topic. Instead she goes further and reveals her fake pregnancy tamasha to him. Tells him their rishta is kagazi. Tells him they are not actually man and wife in real sense. Meerab reveals all this information to someone who has just 2 minutes back told her that he loves you.

Not one bit care about protecting the privacy of their marriage or keeping up the respect of her husband.

In contrast Murtasim. Whenever he talks to Haya, he makes it loud and clear that Meerab is his wife and he won't listen to one word against her. Be it maa begum or haya or Anwar, he does not allow any third person between them. Till now, he has not revealed about the contract to anyone else. He is protecting the privacy of their marriage. He tries and protects Meerab and defends her whenever it is possible.

The only time he faltered was after the accident. He believed haya's words then. But even then, never revealed about the contract.

Regarding the haya kaand, yes murtasim is at fault. He should be smacked on his head. But is Meerab's trust so fragile? Does she really believe he is cheating on her? Is this the relationship they have developed over the last 2 months? Koi bharosa hai ki nahi??

This point is very interesting and I'm waiting to see that how many viewers will sympathize with Murtasim if he will doubt Meerab in future, because clearly Murtasim is suffering from trust issues as well despite being in love, not to forget that Meerab has done a very bad mistake by revealing the contract, it would hurt him badly
