A lot to interpret on this.

The way I see this, he is seeing her with his 'hunter's eyes'. She has managed to capture his attention and he is drawn to her like anything.

He is pursuing her, which can be taken as trap, but what after he attains her? Will the attraction wean off? And all the sparks fizzle out?

For them to have a life-long relationship such that they desire for each other's companionship till the end of life, there has to more than just physical attraction and grand romantic gestures.

Only true love can make this happen, and both of them are far far away from it. Murtasim is a bit quicker in his journey, Meerab has a snail pace.

His questions to waqas were also on point they they didn't left her with any choice and emotionally blackmailed her to accept the marriage

Both of them should not give up on their identities for each other. Love does not necessarily mean you compromise on your identity for the other. It is all about finding a middle ground where both parties are able to co-exist without one suppressing the other. Symbiosis, a sort of.

I think we all are interpreting and going very deep into these characters! I doubt if writer has put in so much thought while writing them and if actors dwelled so much! Given its limited series, will these characters have so much journey to them?

Obviously not.

The writers definitely do not put that much thought and this is just a script, not even a novel.

All of these interpretations just stem out of my obsession 😆

I tend to overanalyze whatever fiction I consume. Otherwise, I lose connect very easily.

This one is a limited series, but not your regular 25 episodes one. It is a bi-weekly, and they are using that opportunity very well to show each stage of their journey. You cannot take it away from the writer that she has written a good 'slowburn' which is rare for a Pakistani television drama.
