Ok the first half of the episode really started giving me tension —- I was so angry!! Even Zaki’s line in between all this “thod dalunga sab kuch usse haasil karne Kyunki voh meri hai” was frankly unnecessary and honestly as triggering
the second half was super se bhi Upar confusing…so just by having nikaah this can be solved…haiiiin?!?! And Asmiya’s issue was just talaq not the fact that he lied, he gaslights, he is rude and frankly had no respect for her…the news of this solution makes her happy too,…which totally confused me
am not surprised by azmi's reaction though -- the girl has been in negative patterns for years even when they were engaged. she would jump if he called out jump like a puppy dog and if she didn't, he would block her, yell at her and she was the one who had to pacify him. every time, she would promise that she would do exactly as he said. also, she was constantly being told by others to make him happy.
I felt that rather than his behaviour, it was the religious angle of the talaq that really bothered her most in this incident -- the whole thing being a sin if she pretended it didn't happen. so she couldn't ignore it because of that. if it was something that did not have a religious angle, she would have certainly made up with him. instead of him chasing her, she would have made the effort to reconcile.
otherwise, she didn't really have a problem with him per se. only now, she is only starting to wake up to his real character and that it might be problematic. also no one in her family sees fardeen's behaviour as a problem -- instead azmi is seen as the problem somehow in bringing up the issue. so their idea is that problem of divorce solved, now life can go back to how they had planned it...
