am not surprised by azmi's reaction though -- the girl has been in negative patterns for years even when they were engaged. she would jump if he called out jump like a puppy dog and if she didn't, he would block her, yell at her and she was the one who had to pacify him. every time, she would promise that she would do exactly as he said. also,she was constantly being told by others to make him happy.

I felt that rather than his behaviour, it was the religious angle of the talaq that really bothered her most in this incident -- the whole thing being a sin if she pretended it didn't happen. so she couldn't ignore it because of that. if it was something that did not have a religious angle, she would have certainly made up with him. instead of him chasing her, she would have made the effort to reconcile.

otherwise, she didn't really have a problem with him per se. only now, she is only starting to wake up to his real character and that it might be problematic. also no one in her family sees fardeen's behaviour as a problem -- instead azmi is seen as the problem somehow in bringing up the issue. so their idea is that problem of divorce solved, now life can go back to how they had planned it...

the father is also really sneaky; his intent was not to have azmi come home but rather be there for a short period like a few months and then send her away with a divorce. so basically hide the divorce for a few months/year so that it doesn't look as scandalous. that was why he lied. it was all about saving face. but I did like when he called his son an idiot and eye rolled when fardeen said he couldn't live without her. so he knows his son is a moron but at the same time, goes along with it. the thing that made me mad is how he instigates fardeen that azmi was not running behind him after the divorce and that she should have been begging and pleading to come back. so the father puts it in fardeen's head that he is whipped. that is so going to come back to bite them all later....

I agree with you, the red flags were always there and she has been accepting his abuse anyways. Her only issue is talaq.

I think she would have even let him rape her if her ruksati etc all was done. Never mind she wasn’t mentally and physically ready, her issue is more with her own self than this jerk.

she did explicit videos/photos for him even though she wasn't comfortable with it -- only to pacify him because she was petrified that he would get angry with her and block her calls. basically she wanted to do whatever to please him. so the only reason she rejected his advances is because of tradition and her feelings of guilt that she had sinned. if he had used the same emotional blackmail tactics as earlier, she would have caved and slept with him for sure.

so yes, her issues are more with herself than him. she doesn't know when she should stand up for herself and when she should compromise and what a healthy relationship looks like.

also in this video, the actress does the say the point of the play is to raise social awareness about the dangers of social media and what you share online. so it will be painful to watch to see her face the consequences....

Since I was a kid my parents have always warned me to keep my webcam disabled and mic deactivated. Only turn it on if you need to use it for work or school then disable it again as soon as you have finished using it.

Even Zuckerberg has admitted that he puts tape over his mic and webcam because they are unsafe. Edward Snowden has spoken a lot about how our phones and computers are used by corporations and governments to spy on us.

this show has good story , actor's doing good as well . Feel bad for Azmiya , she needs a completely new set of relatives.

Good job Azmia . Even if she is crying now it doesn't matter .
