if we didn't know viaan's backstory, then obviously his behaviour towards his father would make him look like a bad son. if we didn't know katha's story, we would question why she would do one night stand. without any background, labeling these boys as bad irks me.

say they are truly greedy, then how does paying them money to keep in contact with dodo solve the issue? instead it makes it worse. we hear so much crimes related to property disputes. throwing money does not solve greed if that is the underlying issue. they are not going to wake up one day and respect her just because viaan pays them or they develop an appreciation because they talk to her on phone for few minutes.

dodo's lies are so many that in any other drama, she would be questioned as fraud. here she is embraced. 🙄 first she is NRI returned from US where her sons also reside. then she is not NRI but resident in old age home. now, the sons are not not settled with their own families but instead rather young. she is now volunteer. so many changes. so many families live nuclear style in the city for a variety of reasons including convenience. this isn't some 80s plot move.

so this whole arc is rather stupid in my view and is adding nothing to the plot. instead, it is making viewers sleepy. I won't be surprised if TRP is less this week.

Undoubtedly its women rule in itv.

Everyone from FL to ghar ki bahu and saas and yes ofcourse MAA is always given more importance than their male counterparts.

And I am not complaining. In real life women face issues like gender bias, pay parity etc. Atleast on otv let them enjoy more powerful position 😆

I don't think these situations can be compared.

Vian's father left him for whatever reason it maybe

-Be it for Young beautiful woman (gold digger/saint doesn't matter)

- or Because Annoying behavior of sati savitri or evil Tejji

Even if Vian gets to know about the backstory of why his father left and even if Tejji is proved to be the most disgusting life partner and the mistress a good woman

Will it change the fact that he left his son who was not at fault ???.

It is possible that Viraj was a good guy and life partner but he was a terrible father

It is like the character Ross of friends who was the best father /brother/son/human but a terrible life partner (not saying Rachel was right)

I don't know about viaan or how viraj or any fictional character or writers gonna take it forward but I can know people in reality have this almost dual personality where they are excellent in one role while sucks at another.

we don't know the real story here unless makers give us a full picture. viraj could have been a good father but a bad husband. or he could have wanted to keep in touch but teji refused to give him contact with viaan. divorce cases are messy.

either way, that wasn't what I was trying to convey. my point was that viaan also comes from a home where he has issues with a parent himself. now, whether it is a mother or a father, parent child conflicts are complicated and each family will have different dynamics. so he is in no position to really give advice to these boys or to fix this situation.

there is a saying -- people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at another. that was my feel. he is being like typical ITV FL who gets involved in other people's business out of their way even when they themselves will not follow their own lecture. 🤷

How was the weekend? I hope everyone got enough time to relax and detox yourselves.😆 I watched Tu Jhooti Mei Makkar on Saturday. Full on dhamaka movie with many double standards and cringe dialogues. 😆 But Ranbir and Shradha were fab. 👍🏼 one time watch ,timepass movie hei.😃

Coming to our show, ab kya hi kahun. Aaj holi episode aayega. Both katha and Viaan will have separate holi celebrations. I used to like the crisp editing of our show before. Ab toh sab kuch itna stretch kar diya hei ki kya hi bolun. Channel is gonna launch two new shows as MasterChef and Shark Tank ending this month. Competition tough hone wali hei. High time for the makers to buckle up.

Apart from it nothing seems interesting..

How many remember? KA pre-launch promos had one old scooter of Katha that keeps troubling her, where as rich Viaan driving in his savvy car comes down, to fix it silently in the night.

Waiting to watch Katha with her scooter in real KA plots..she is mostly shown commuting in auto rikshaws or cabs.

Seems Katha got her salary including 50 years anniversary bonus😃may be this month Aarav's school expenditure etc. is less, she is shown to spend money on gifts & new clothes even for herself, not just Aarav & Neerja for Holi ka dahan. So let her also spend few thousands to get her old scooter repaired, to use it soon pls.😳
