Can’t wait for spring. Got a few plans. Btw. I was just thinking other day. You should plan a vacation to Kerala. From our convo a while back. It’s amazing place. And mostly by road once you get there. :)

Even she spoke of snow.. But looks like she had more of that n not very happy and u are not happy with lesser snow 🤭🤭🤭

Chocru (jay) - Hope Sunday going well. Mainey bola thaa I will tell you about game filming- a concept I learnt during leadership training - derived from sports. Let’s hope I can do it justice in my description.

So essentially, in modern day, as you mentioned of course there is all sorts of camera filming/watching prev games/competition etc. From opposite team in team sports (their tactics/ results etc) to solo sports such as gold where it’s about posture, swing, etc and am sure you have something for shooting also in test conditions / competitions etc. Modern tech certainly has come a v long way in helping.

At same time our mind is a camera. It records/ films constantly. And no matter what - what happens in any sport at the moment of competition is what matters. And cameras can’t help in that moment - all you have is your mind to depend upon (and ofc all the training)

So example one that I remember distinctly is golf. What does Tiger woods do between shots as he makes a shot and walks to the ball for next shot Essentially it’s recollection of all the past situations in his mind about previous situations in his career - factoring in variables like wind, distance, club, swing, force, etc and result ( depending on “game filming” from his own mind)…. And ofc then he makes a decision on what in his past game filming” in mind produced best result under similar situations… Practically this can be used in any situation in a sport (and honestly management)).

It’s definitely been an extremely useful tool for me. I won’t get into how it applies for me as that won’t be relevant for you and I hope you find it useful.

So it's a combination of memory, experience, common sense and knowledge of the game itself. (to recollect right memory of similar experience done or witnessed and applying thr right technique going forward)

So it's all a purely mental process of individual. Which probably can be put into words a little but it's SO exclusive to the individual that it remains a internalized process no matter what.
