Judging by the writer's interview she seems quite intelligent regarding these issue ( and she should as her profession asks her to have these basic social knowledges)

The show already have the most illogical track with behaya. so they already screwed up big time and i won't be surprised if they dumb down meerab to that level🤣

Till now even the fish incident can be justified to a level considering meerab wasn't aware of the allergy and murtu himself jumped to impress meerab. As long as she didn't force the fish under murtu's throat she cannot be completely blamed for it. He is a fully grown adult and he made the decision to take a risk with his health to earn browny points from his wife. But if meerab reveals the contract to rohail there is no ifs and buts, that's down right wrong.

Murtasim brought a girl saying izzat ke badle izzat. Then she got to know from that girl that she is getting married forcefully. What should a rightful woman do in such situation?

It's not like meerab directly went to panchayat without talking to murtasim. First she tried to talk to him. But she didn't get any right answer from him so she did what she felt right for that girl.

Meerab knows how it feels to be forced. So she never want other girl to go through the same.

It takes a lot courage for a woman to take stand for other woman infront of many people.

It was totally murtasim fault for not giving any explanation to her. .

Meerab wasn't responsible even in her kidnapping too. Murtasim told her to not get down from car but didn't tell why.

She was wrong only in that taking bullets from gun thing.

I agree that viewers always be harsh towards female leads and nitpick their actions. Male lead needs to do bare minimum to get appreciation. Talking generally.

The more we talk about this namard issue, the more it makes me wants me want to run away from this show. So messy, even on paper.

But the problem is, I don't want to, they are way too addictive 🥺

I just want to remember Yumna's words here that Meerab will learn a huge lesson out of it.

Even meerab don't give much importance and all she does is complaint to murtu for encouraging behaya. For someone as proud and high as meerab that is a lukewarm response. At the start it was fine because meerab didn't care about murtu but now she does and she don't like a 3rd person actively bull dozing into her relationship and trying to break it. A girl like meerab would have definitely shown haya who the boss is.

What makes it all the more surprising is behaya isn't even trying to hide behind a mask. She is very open about her intentions even in front of maa begum. Whatever she is doing she is doing out in the open. She has expressed her explicit hate towards meerab and complete obsession with murtu to every single member of that household multiple times and not Just once.

Classic plot point to keep the story running on the villain's antics.

To make every other character look dumb and make the villain mighty and influential enough to manipulate things her way.

There is a script leak over that! Very unprofessional behaviour, whoever did that.

Even American or other western shows rarely show female characters discussing their sexual relationship with her husband to their male friends.

Don't think meerab will reveal it to anyone..but haya can , to rohail ..both can team up against murtasim and meerab and these 2 fools will fall in the trap easily .

So if she reveals it to rohail who is not even her close friend. Then that's totally out of character. It won't make sense just like how murtasim being soft to haya all of a sudden doesn't make sense.

Bold :- judging by how murtasim's character took a u-turn from our malibaag u turn point (a u turn point name in our country) for haya, being all soft and showing humdardi . The same haya whom shadow wasn't allowed to enter his room before marriage. Remember how he said tum phirse yeha ..tumhe mana kiya hein na ane ko. But look at him now.

So if they show, meerab who was fearing about the revelation of contract that time...now in future go and reveal about it herself, going totally out of her character i won't be too surprised 🙃 but definitely dimaag kharab ho jayega
