That was a gentleman’s reply. But it took him some hesitation to get there. He clearly gives her the respect of a married woman. But notice his own face when her name is mentioned. Deep down he never forgot about her.

His choice whether he wanted to marry or not. Marriage is not be all and end all of life.

He is surely commitment phobic and does not want responsibility that comes with marriage or perhaps fears being controlled by a wife or answerable to a wife. He has drinking, smoking issues and temper issues. I guess even he knows no woman will put up with him for long.

He has abused almost all his GFs. He'd be divorced and charged for domestic violence even if he did get married. And he would be paying fat alimony, maintenence and child support.

I guess he likes his life as it is. Gets any new girl he wants. Keeps friends with old ones too. Does anything he likes at farmhouse. And when he feels like interacting with kids, he indulges kids of his siblings and friends.

No responsibility as a husband or dad or headache to be role model for his kids. He is there are uncle for nephews and nieces but no responsibility as a dad.

His court cases may be other reasons why he avoids marriage. Nor had kids through IVF surrogacy like Tusshar or K Jo.

His brothers are also divorced and his dad Salim was also never loyal to his mom Salma. I guess committing to one woman is just not in genes of this family nor it occurs to them.

His mother was devastated when his father married Helen. She was relying on him for emotional support. Probably had no familial support also since she eloped to marry Salim. Salman had to grow up fast.That has to leave scars. He probably doesn't want to put another woman in the same position as his own mother. Ranbir's commitment issues probably had the same basis. Having to grow up fast and be an adult to support your mother who relies on you for emotional support. Anyway why are we all being nosy relatives and worrying about someone who's happily single?
