Was maaya in prison? Which episode CA was stopped to bond with maaya , if I m not wrong orphanage don't have facility where parents can leave their kids on contract bases , after sometime biological parents can come & claim them or go to house where child is given for adoption?

Looks like you missed the part of Maya's story where she said that she left CA at the aashram because the people from the brothel where she was sold were after her....and if they found her with CA ...they would have taken both of them back to the brothel...and then CA would have met the same fate as Maya......any loving mother would have done the same....what is better....a child growing up as an orphan in an ashram or a child growing up in a brothel to become a prostitute??

The poor laborers do not have people hunting their kids to turn them into prostitutes....otherwise they would probably do the same....

about CA choosing Devi ji over her birth mother......she is 6 years old.....little kids get attached quickly if they are shown affection....they do not know right or wrong....they can choose their pet rabbit over their parents....that is why their opinion doesn't count...
