That’s exactly what I felt. That was not Murtasim in that scene. It was Wahaj acting in a romance scene for a commercial 🤷‍♀️. His looks did not convince me at all. I guess I had high hopes for that scene with all the angsty music from the teasers, and like the pool scene, it made it a little underwhelming. He is off his acting game in that scene. Let’s see what happens tomorrow but she has this suddenly shocked or panicked face in the promo, so don’t have high expectations.

BUT I will say, Yumna looks much better than Wahaj in that shot and it’s kinda refreshing, given her sub par styling in the show. She looks gorgeous here.

When he told her she looks beautiful, it didn’t have the same feeling as when he said it in Urdu in the “aurat” episode. Even his gaze wasn’t sizzling like it usually does.
Maybe Wahaj was just tired when they shot this scene, but it felt like something was missing.
Anyway just my thoughts.

Hope tomorrow’s episode gives us the magic we are looking forward to.

I agree with every word of ur rant but for one. His conversations with Anwar were more on the colloquial side for the most part of this series. It wasnt a typical uncle-nephew relationship in the strictest sense. Be it ghe scene in the first episode where he drives Anwar to Hyd where they bet on each other or the conversation in the morning after the wedding and a few other scenes. So I was not really thrown off by that ‘I love u” today, I rather found it cute. It didn’t feel out of place for me atleast.

Same girl, same. I was like, first you force this new Parisian cafe bgm on us, then you replace Murtasim with Wahaj, and then you FORCE us to watch you son for the longest dang promo ever. 🙄 🙄 🙄

Today's episode was so off. The music, the continuity, the dialogues, the interactions, the editing.. everything was off. I felt like i was watching another show entirely, not tere bin. The tere bin that i used to watch has that intensity, passion which was amplified by the deep intense music. Today's episode was all over the place it felt like a joke😒

Ps: The background music 'ra ra ra re' played during the swimming pool scene would have been perfect for the soup feeding scene and tomorrow's dance scene🤧. Just imagine the swimming pool scene with the new ost.. i can't even image it that would be unbearable.. that's how i felt today

murtasim is the key to the intensity they really have to keep his personality constant, he is the tone of the whole show. all the scenes today could have been with a different style murtasim and it would have worked. the boy next door is not his character. writers don't understand there is a personality of a character and there is his decisions. A person decisions can change over time but someone personality is not that easy to change especially someone as bullheaded like him.

Murtasim brand of romance is also sombre and intense.

They really thought that the haya scene should be kept over the murtasim meerab scene. Who is editing this MAKE IT MAKE SENE.

I don’t know why, but the Haya thing extra bothered me today. The other times I brushed it off, but today it was really extra 🤮. Extra forced and extra non- sensical. Like, did he not remember he was “pal pal” dying to see her in the hospital and crying and incapacitated when he got back home from heartbreak, but could not see her because Haya lied to him? How does this wench get ANY time with him after that.

INAPPROPRIATE ( that’s the word). I don’t care if he is being nice to her out of kindness; she shouldn’t be doing his wifely duties… because it’s simply inappropriate!!! That’s not hard to understand. She shouldn’t be allowed to enter their bedroom.. it’s just inappropriate. She definitely should not be asking to feed him, and right in front of his wife at that? Like, what the actual $&@! It’s the highest level of inappropriate.

As others have said, Murtasim really let me down with the Haya scenes today. A man like that has no sense of boundaries and that never makes for a good husband. Our Meerub deserves better and can have better, don’t care how great Murtasim is otherwise. He needs to fix this… and obviously won’t, and didn’t learn his lesson from last time. So I am ok with him suffering a bit 🤷‍♀️

I want to give wahaj benefit of the doubt, look at the script of today episode, these were not murtasim dialogues. He must have been in a zone as murtasim suddenly the script doesn't match his character, can you blame him for being thrown off. When he was fighting with Meerab in that scene, he was given all the wrong dialogues, is Murtasim really that clueless, only Meerab was on point.

He was off in every scene, only in the end did I see him make a minor comeback.
