I know murtasim is talking nicely with haya, which he should not do. But I guess in today's episode we only got softie murtu, pyaar main paglaa giya hai. Even haya sy bhi sweetly baat kar raha hai. It's all magic of love πŸ˜‚

Guys I know why we had transition issues today! Remember the scene where murtasim makes a call. Then we see meerab get ready. There must have been a scene where he requests her! It makes no sense that she just agrees after being mad at him over haya.

I think Mr.khadwani requested to cut 3 mins out to fit his wannabe feroze Khan son's promo into the episode πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

If that's not the case then the director is dumb or the writer (highly likely as she appears to be misogynist πŸ˜‚ when it comes to writing meerab lol)

Tv channels give certain amount of screen time to the T. Not over a minute more.

why not postpone the date scene to next episode?
Now I am dying to know what he said that she was happily dressing up for him 😭😭😭😭

Yes the pacifying scene was in the BTS and in the OST as well. He walks away first and she chases him. Why the fish would they cut that scene out. MAKT IT MAKE SENSE.

This is a critical point of both these characters they don't listen to anybody but each other, only meerab and murtasim can make the other do something they don't want to do, because ultimately they are loyal to each other.

No one could convince Murtasim for marriage until Meerab herself said marry me. After marriage she didn't want to comply, until Murtasim put his foot down and told her to calm down and listen to his mother which she does.

The only time she defied him with getting out of the car she got hurt and eventually he got hurt. Shows that if they go against each other it is dangerous for both of them, they are a team. This haya problem is sort of like that, Meerab is warning him but Murtasim conveniently is keeping his brains in his pockets, and now both will suffer, as he refuses to listen to her as she did once.

I think the main reason for today's mess is the editing jokes aside.

I feel pak production houses need education on forming craft in regards to producing content. There needs to be school of editing, music selection and telling certain singers not to get inspired and make one line in a way that it destroys soooo many other projects due to bans! The production houses need to invest in technical artists. From lights to music to editing to everything.

Most urgent need is of teaching emerging writers how to write episodes. We all love Zindagi Gulzar hai. Beautiful faulty human characters...written so we'll by umera that you know for sure they exist. That's a writer. That's the author. Just like Mr. Hashims parizaad. But these new writers are so horrible and they are the root cause of going from highs to lows. It's like their characters arc and evolution are all over the place! You feel disengaged and disassociated....sad given most actors are great at their craft. And every crew member is hard working. But it doesn't matter if things are not done right

You know what i also feel. Episode 20 was SOOO GOOD that episode 21 did not live up to it. The flow was not right. Although its fast paced it was missing continuity.

And it’s not just because of the OST it’s something to do with the dialogue or the interactions between the leads. I can’t put my finger on it.
Also the fact that they were bandaged and then suddenly they were not. And then her getting angry with him over Haya and then fine again afterwards. And then the date seemed all romantic but for some reason even the way he looks at her wasn’t as heartfelt or genuine as last week.
When he told her she looks beautiful, it didn’t have the same feeling as when he said it in Urdu in the β€œaurat” episode. Even his gaze wasn’t sizzling like it usually does.
Maybe Wahaj was just tired when they shot this scene, but it felt like something was missing.
Anyway just my thoughts.

Hope tomorrow’s episode gives us the magic we are looking forward to.

i thought he was more off in the feeding scene, it was a little too playful for his style. Even I can't put my finger on it. Something was definitely off. The way he smiled it was out of character.

OK my guess Murtasim despite his flirty style is a brooding character, he won't laugh heartily he is controlled in everything in romance or in aggression.

I thought wahaj was definitely better on the final scene, his brilliant eye acting was back the way he became sad when she said don't take my name.

I will say this till I am in blue in the face. It is the characters that create chemistry, excellent casting and acting can bring this chemistry alive on screen, but if the characters fail doesn't matter how good looking the pair are the chemistry will die too.

yes I agree. To be honest up until last week it seemed to have been flowing okay apart from a few continuity issues. Storyline was good up till now but today it seemed to be all over the place. I don’t know why they’ve done this.
Perhaps originally they wanted to do more episodes but because of all the problems with the ost and the ban maybe they’ve been pressured into completing the show quickly.

My fav scene was murtism and anwar

I completely agree. I saw a interview where director said he had filmed the scene in a different way but the editor suggested to do it like this and it made the scene more impactful. I wish we got such brilliant editors here. Yahan toh it’s a poor version of editing out scenes
