Quest for ideas

Hello everyone.

My fellow members of this forum. I know most of you are very knowledgeable and updated about the incidents happening every now and then in the financial world. Even, I belong to this world of finance, but unfortunately I am not that updated.

So, I need your help.

I have planned to write a thriller fictional story, which will be based on a financial scam. So, I will be extremely grateful to all if you can suggest some wonderful ideas for my plot from past financial scams, if possible, along with the source of the webpages where I can read about them in detail.
