Because, honestly, I don't see Meerab taking a step towards her goals/career anywhere in the near future. Yeh show us point tak nahi jayega. A part of me also thinks she never really wanted to become a lawyer, she just idolised her father and wanted to make him proud by doing what he does. But please, itne bade hopes naa rakhein Meerab se 😆

BTS mein dikh raha hai, she will not even have enough money to get daughter treated, career banana toh door ki baat hai.

God I will scream bloody murder if this is humsafar repeat. But even khairad was doing something she is a teacher, so meerub also has to do something to survive if she doesn’t get her father inheritance. The thought of her coming back to murtasim because their child is sick is the worst possible version in my head.

I don't think they will show the child really sick or something. Meerab will come back on her own because someone will tell her that Murtasim is getting married to Haya (which will not be the case, ofcourse) but she'll think like that. 🤣

Separation tracks with kids involved are such a downers. For some reason it’s like parents reconcile for kids sake not for themselves, as if they both don’t have there own place in each others lives and idea of kid growing up without there father breaks my heart given in what all separation tracks I have seen the ML make amazing dads.

@Innayat - To see empowered FL post separation is distant dream, they mostly show her in such bad condition like its hand to mouth case, forget wardrobe when even house helps wear better clothes within limited resources.

Oh yes we all know what to expect it’s love story so it’s like Tadap Tadap ke is dil se aah nilkhal thi hain…….but we need to call out those dumb things right so atleast they get to know people some change and separation doesn’t always need to be FL in financial distress with kid and ML in company of glass and unwanted girl hovering around him . They can be shown more matured,strong and pinning for each other without sick kid in tow .

When it comes to Meerab and her reactions on knowing the truth about her parentage, it's understandable that if she is abandoned once again, this time by both her husband and her father, she will be shattered.

Even now, she is struggling to find a footing for herself in her new house, with all the support from her husband and her father trying to make up for all the lost years. Imagine if she starts feeling secure again and bam! They throw her out again? She will not be left with anything, self-confidence toh door ki baat hai.
