Aishwarya was cursed with the worlds worst dads in BW history. First we had the sa-re-ga-ma-pa singing dad in HDDCS who forced his daughter to marry a random man despite her suicide attempt. Then we had this parampara obsessed dad who pushed her to commit suicide.

I was going to say, what is with Aditya's obsession with mean regressive dads? Amitabh from Mohabbatein makes Amrish Puri from DDLJ look like a saint. Like any dad with a heart, he eventually melted and bowed down to his daughter's happiness. Amitabh from Mohabbatein not only proved his ego clearly came before his daughter's smile. He ruined a bright young boy's future. Who was said to be a very talented student? Why? Because he loved his daughter? Even the courts of law are much more forgiving to students who commit small crimes like theft. He ruined a young man's future due to love. The character deserved to suffer. Shahrukh's character should not have come back to alleviate his loneliness.
