In all honesty, a show like Tere Bin will not come again for a very long time. The popularity and the craze for a lovestory like this is rare. Most end up being underrated and are appreciated much later. This one isn't anything too pathbreaking in terms of plot/storyline but when you watch the episodes, the popularity seems valid. Wahaj and Yumna have managed to create something good onscreen.
Also, seeing the response to Meerab and how self-proclaimed feminist reviewers( like Aamna) are Team Murtasim just makes me realise how the audience are not yet ready for a tough, bratty female lead, someone who is hard to get, and does not given in to her husband's wooing. While the same audience would gladly accept a tough-to-get bratty hero, in the hopes of some 'redemption' or 'growth'. Can we not enjoy the tables being turned for once? 😆
Maybe it's not only about tables being turned or generic heroines. Majority of the household audience expect a lovestory with a lot of chemistry and tasteful tashan from two wonderful actors (blame teasers for that). But when one Character acts bratty without much elaborated or valid reason, people get impatient. They will be like why isn't she reciprocating, can't she see his love etc. Which is the case with bratty MLs too. There aren't comments appreciating how bratty or insensitive ml is. They are mostly like how good looking he is. No body is saying meerab's not pretty.
Also it's PTV. Audience are already burnt from sad endings in recent years. They want a good lovestory and they don't really care about out of the box ML or FL. Usually the looks rule for male actors.

People is not understanding that meerub l liye kitna bara jhatka tha murtasim s shadi... Like bachpan s le k shadi honay tk us n use sirf nafrat ki hai amd suddenly her world turn upside down r wo murtasim ki biwi bn gai.. how she digest this fact just by flirting of her husband ... Use to filhal mutasim p bhi puri traha yaqeen nahi aya falling in love to filhal thora door hai

Do you think the majority audience ( masses put so much energy on trying to understand why a fictional character is behaving the way she/he is ? I mean the deep analysis we do ?

That's right. People are not understanding. Even I can't understand. Because frankly, it's not that big of a qayamat. People go through so much in real life. Life is unpredictable. It brings shockers. She found out her parents are adoptive, she got married forcefully? So what? That's not something to hang onto for 30 something episodes. Especially when the other party (murtasim) is shown to be constantly reaching out and ready to compromise. So people want to know what actually is wrong with her?

Yes, forceful marriage is not much of a shocker for majority of women in our society as most of us are brought up under patriarchal oppression so as a women our rights are trampled all over and we don't consider it a big deal and keep on waiting for something bigger to happen. Jab tak ham par tezaab na phainka jaaye, ya supposed accident main choolha na phat jayee, ya maar maar kai jaan sai hi maar dainay wala hi na kar diya jaaye hamain lagta hi nahin kai kuch bura bhi hua hai.
Laikin jin khawateen ki self respect kai saath parwarish ki jaati hai un kai liye unki khwahishaat ka ehteraam na kiya jaana bari baat hoti hai. Apparently that is how Meerab was brought up.
