On another note, Mrunal and Tripti are like a breath of fresh air. They deserve to be up there, with Alia. They are in the same age group as Alia na?

It is not the real ages of stars that matter.Mrunal and Tripti can be 35..but will still be seen as young stars, because they debuted recently.

Films and co-stars age stars.Anu and Kriti may be the same age(I don't know their ages)..but Kriti will be perceived as younger.DP and Shraddha may have a couple of years difference..but Shraddha is years younger in film years and worked with younger co-stars.

Alia is 30..looks much younger ..but a 30 pus debutante will be seen as junior.

I think looks and talent both.

Except for Twinkle in that reel, each and every actress ranged from decent to talented in their acting.

Now we have Janhvi false lips being hailed as the performer of the year for at least not ruining a movie completely with her acting in Mili

dude, she was stunning before the alcoholism. She had a unique beauty. People in the media called her the natural beauty that didn't need much makeup with an enchanting smile. Her features were unique. Not the conventionally beautiful types but attractive.

I dont agree. Also when did the alcoholism start ?

Well…when you hail Deepika’s flat, monotonous dialogue delivery for the last 15 years as the pinnacle of good acting, what else do you expect?

the younger were always gaga over the actresses whether aish, priyanka or madhuri, sridevi, craze was unmatched

now even the current gen is not really crazy about anybody, heard anybody worshipping a ananya, jhanvi, max is you may like an alia thats all

I have heard that about music but I haven’t really heard the same complaint for actresses. I felt the pre-2010 were quite celebrated compared to today

Because they were at least distinct and had their own qualities. The current generation is cheap copy of each other and most of them suck at doing their job.

I haven't liked any current actresses after Madhuri and Aishwarya. Maybe my expectations are higher. Rani/Vidya were the last best among actresses imo.

Not sure but that took a toll on her looks. Mann was a great movie but everyone can tell she looked tired and worn out in it.

Also, you find Jhanvi, Ananya, Aloo, and Sara hot! And you also stated that Yami Gautam looks like a grandma. Fair to say your opinions are normally one of a kind. But to each their own. Peace!

Super talented too! She was considered in the same league as Tabu acting wise.
