The biggest similarity is that both Darcy and murtasim have preconceived notions of how an ideal woman should behave, but the women they fell in love with broke their delusions and made them better men. Ironically neither do Darcy and murtasim, on the surface it looks like they are doing what is expected of them, but beneath it they are unique and defy the established norms hence why they are such attractive characters.

The biggest difference is anger Darcy would never show murtasim like rage. He is a British lord, gentleman of his rank would never exhibit such emotion in public.

Darcy and murtasim are both elitist. Darcy first proposal to Elizabeth shows how much pride he has in his social rank, similar to how when murtasim suspected that meerub was an orphan he immediately lost respect for her even though he might have had some personal feelings.

Darcy too upped the flirt game when the realized that he needs to be better to win over Elizabeth, the way murtasim is so flirty after marriage shows that he can’t force her to love him. Both Darcy and murtasim were quick to put their pride aside for their love. Neither gave up after being rejected.

I also think Darcy and murtasim attraction to their spouses is because deep down they want their respect, and find their free spiritedness attractive and wishes they could be more like that, neither women conformed to the social norms expected of their gender. It not a love where I want her to be worthy of me but I want to become worthy of her.

The similar theme in both love stories is that they are both two sides of the same coin. All four have a strong sense of Justice, very strong personalities with stronger opinions on what is right and what is wrong, neither fit into any established stereotypes did things their own way, and most importantly their loyalty devotion to their family and loved ones and to each other.
