that is the whole point she is doing what is best based on what she knows. Now why doesn’t she know more ask her husband. She did ask him to calm down but he told her to shut up and sit still, both their communication awful. If she really did nothing and stood there like a doll why are we watching this show. That is the whole journey we want her to react to what he does, audience has to be patient, we are judging her too soon and giving Murtu too much credit.

South means only Telugu movies. Malayalam movies nowadays will have strong female characters or no female characters at all. I don't remember the last time a Malayalam movie put a female character just for the sake of having a female lead. Most movies nowadays don't even have songs let along songs to objectify women. I guess except Vijay or top commercial actor's movies even Tamil don't do that. Don't know anything about kanada movies but Telugu movies are like 90s Hindi movies. Female leads are only there to drool over and get harassed by male leads in the form of romance.

South movies means there are 4 different industries with 4 completely different type of audience.

True. It's not like meerab don't try to talk to murtu. She did before taking the bullets and before going in front of the panchayat. It's him that shut her down and never gave any proper answers. Instead instigated her more. Then when she genuinely wants to apologise he won't listen to that as well. What is she supposed to do? It's not like she has experience of being married or handling feudal lords and their tantrums.

yes I think Yumna strength is more character roles. How would Sajal do as meerub. A very very good actor can make the character their own. Yumna has made meerub her own, she is closer in age to wahaj it gives this couple their takkar chmistry. Meerub has maturity and vulnerability in her character portrayed well by yumna, it is really a fine balance, any other actor would tip the balance. The story in not there yet where she is able to prove that she is wise but I think eventually I see her being murtasim strength. I don’t want to see her weeping all the time I like the fact that she challenges him. So overall good casting choice.

I actually sat through Aamna and Hassan's review of the episodes and it was more like a commentary, a live tweet session! Also Aamna saying that she's losing patience with Meerab just like Murtasim has, is what this 'pro-Murtasim' script has done to the general audience. In an attempt to make the hero 'non-toxic', they have toyed with their heroine. I think her character will falter more as it goes. It's already frustrating to think that if they make her the reason for their separation, people might eventually say Murtasim deserves Haya more than Meerab, which would just defy the entire purpose of this show (M&M's silly, angsty little love-story) The writer took a chance of creating two very extreme characters, got afraid of the social media police and dumbed down the heroine to save the hero instead. I'll lose it if they show her being influenced by Rohail, while no one bats an eyelid over Haya's obsession. Pura mazaa kharaab. 😡

Meerab is already receiving a lot of hate and I'm sure aage toh tamatar pheke jayenge, if the leaked script makes it to the show. 🤣

I really dislike what they're doing to her character.

It's MeerAsim that make TB, not one or the other.

The scene bfr marriage where he asks her does she really hate him, and their entire interaction from the parent reveal was soo good. Meerub was Meerub then too... she was vocal, headstrong, and spoke clearly. If she can maintain the strain in her r/ship with her adopted parents in a dignified manner why turn her into a childish brat infront of her husband?

They give her some pathetic dialogues to show immaturity? She's what 26? Her whole world has turned upside down.

To not have parent's to call her own let alone a home- how could they make her character stoop like this?

If she wants to annoy Murtasim - that's fine... his mother deserves all that's coming for her. 😡

First she wants them to come close, now gets irritated.

First she insisted on making Meerub her bahu, now doesn't want her near her son...

One thing they have kept consistent with Meerub is her honesty through her frank speaking.

Who is MB to throw Meerub out of her own house if she doesn't accept Murtasim as her husband and Anwar as her father infront of her... like she's still his wife and Anwar's daughter 😵😆

So, when she does confess Murtasim will know it'sthe truth.

Then again for drama with beHaya and Psycho- rohail🤣... the Izzat is being brought up time and time again.
