If she does not know anything, then first she needs to know and understand then she should rise her voice against wrong. Ghalat chezz main awaaz uthana ghalat nhi. She was right in Maid Naila's matter tho. Her ideology is brighter and wider. She is confident and strong headed but she is a bit dumb and too impulsive.

Now coming towards murtasim, ofcourse this feudal system is not an ideal one. Hopefully they will address this in this drama. But at least murtasim is not a cruel person, who killed malik's son, who punished their maid naila. Yes he wants to rule on these people but he does care for them. Murtasim is not the one who has made this feudal system. At least he is trying to be a fair leader of that village. Let's take the example of any office. If the boss of that office will give equal authority to every employer toh no one will respect that boss, har koi khud ko hi boss samhy ga. So, if murtu will empower the villagers then they will go against him, so he or any other feudal lord will definitely not do that. In office work scenario merit and experience matters so, it's a fair deal. But in feudal system it's all about specific families getting ghaddis and all privileges so definitely this feudal system is not appreciable.

Yes, murtasim has flaws as well, unfortunately he is part of this regressive feudal system.

But Murtasim the husband and murtasim the Khan are different one. Murtasim the khan considers meerab as his wife, his izzat. But murtu the husband considers meerab as meerab only or most probably murtasim ki meerub. Husband murtu was the one who accepted meerab's contract, who never asked her to change, who didn't complain about that fish, she deliberately made for him, who never asked her to cover her head with duppata like her mother and sister do, never asked her to do his personal stuff or to take care of him and his family, she never demanded anything.

Her getting out of the car had nothing to do with murtasim. She clearly didn't get out of the car simply because murtasim said her to stay in the car. She got out because of her innocent curiosity and joy of seeing some sheeps. It would have been her disobeying him if she saw the sheeps while she was roaming around the field just because murtu said her to stay inside. If anything the bodyguards should be blamed for not keeping an eye on their malkin. She is his wife and not his subject to 'obey' to everything coming out of his mouth. Should she have been like 'oh there are some cute little sheeps, but i shouldn't get out of a car surrounded by bodyguards simply because my jahas-e-khuda said( or whatever maa begum said) not to get out of the car for reasons unknown to me.'🤣

How is she suppose to know when nobody tells her anything? Murtu is like this is how everything is and you should just accept them as it is and stay quite and live with it. Meerab is not the kind to blindly follow any rules. She will definitely question things she don't feel right. She did try to talk to murtu about the maid multiple times but he never gave her a proper answer. Then she saw the maid crying and then she hears murtu deciding the faith of the maid on his own. She again went to murtu and told it's not right to get someone married against their will and he again didn't tell her anything. What is she supposed to do? How is she suppose to know the maid is being married to her own cousin from her own Village and the maid that was crying two minutes ago is gonna be fine with it? Murtu has been behaving like a regressive feudal lord since the kidnapping. Why should she blindly trust every decision of his simply because he flirts with her time to time?

Murtasim might not be the one who created feudal system but he definitely can change it which he isn't. Why is there even a need of a feudal lord in the 21st century? The only explanation is murtu and his khandan likes the power they have over an entire village. It's already established that the family is ultra promax rich and they literally live in a mini castle in the city and even their house in the village is huge. They might be having factories and other businesses in the city since murtu goes out to work when he is at the city house. But the power part comes from the feudal system in the village. If they empower the villagers they will understand they don't need a feudal lord to rule over them and they will let their kids get better education and look for greener pastures which the khan khandan don't want. There has been good rulers in our history who were fair and worked for the betterment of their subject but will that ever be better than democracy and freedom? A golden cage is still a cage.

Murtu does want meerab to take care of him and his family but he knows he cannot force her to do things. If he didn't he wouldn't have asked maa begum to give all the responsibilities to meerab. If he was as cool as you mentioned he would have never dragged her away from their walima when she danced which again she did simply because she liked it. She didn't had any intention of giving a bad name to the khandan or mocking them. Its not her fault if the izzat of that khandan lies on her dancing skills😆. He also time to time gave her subtile warnings. The dude even said she should be afraid of him. Why should a wife be afraid of her husband?

Also murtasim has no say on whether meerab wants to cover her head or not. That's her personal right and the decision is solely hers and nobody else's.

The plot premise is total rip off Jodha Akbar, but they have hit jackpot with lead casting, Yumhaj chemistry is what pulled audiences and it’s still chemistry that’s holding them and also Wahaj as Murtasim, he has put in lot into this char and its visible on screen. Be it’s styling or voice modulation he was spot on .For Yumna, meerab must be one of her easiest role, but it’s there chemistry which is soul of show.

All the team had to work was on good screenplay and sensible dialogue, few dramatics and it would have been so better. It could have been story of this feudal lord who is bound by his duty and traditions falls in love with this stubborn, urban, independent girl and how they both try and , understand each others perspectives and learn to respect , fall in love and bring in balance.

Given Wahaj and Yumna are such terrific actors they would have been awesome in both clashing and emotion scenes.

But no they had to mess up everything with their logic less sub plots and twists.

What a total waste of entire pool scene. Koi na atleast Wahaj got his shot at fame :-)

How is this a rip off of Jodha akbar? Jodha hesitated to get close to Akbar because she was used as a paw for political gain and she was supposed to be married to someone else. Then they were of different religion and jodha was never an impulsive and immature woman like meerab. Except for cultural and religious difference and them taking time to understand each other jodha akbar was never a haters to lovers troop story. Jodha might have disliked the marriage and had prejudice against akhbar and the Mughal Empire but she never hated him and he never hated her from the start.
