I’m breaking my silent viewing of this forum to post this meme 😆 priya should’ve gotten a substitute or an equivalent other option if they had no problem giving Aruna one later on 🤪😒 not to mention there are probably other veg contestants too

Just because her reasons for being vegan weren’t religious doesn’t mean they aren’t important 😒 idk I just felt bad for her

May be it is unpopular opinion here but i do not like garima,i find her rude sometimes. I do not like ranveer too,to some extent. May be i am unconditionally in love with kunal and Vikas still that i can not take other two in the show :(

Aruna- Lol, she seems to be cooking desserts only nowadays. 😆Plating was too simple - I was expecting actual prasads. Ranveer's comment of neat plating was bizarre lol. Kunal was OTT with praising her dish till he talked about the funny looking savory prasad of shimla. 😆 Lol, the savory part of Shimla didn't look appealing anyways.

Shanta- I gotta be honest, was looking towards her plate besides Nayan's one because it's quite nutritional-based. Kaale chawal ki kheer (the dessert) was pretty cool.

Gurkirat-too simple of a plating. Looked more like an appetizer. Seemed like dish was kalonji's bitterness and saltiness was nail in the coffin.

Sachin-plating wasn't impressive. Though the color of pandan kulfi was nice -- seemed that the taste was off due to presence of egg.

Deepa-Plating was simple & average. Lambs could be better presented -- looked unclean. Dish seemed tasty though.

Swarna-Too much elements going on. Raw fish, oh boy lol.

The meal Shanta made it’s not really meal for breakfast you can eat anytime I have had during brunch, lunch and dinner it’s comfort dish where you can eat anytime. That achaar she made from banana flower and stem it’s so good my mom makes them.

He called chef Kunal quite early on, which bewildered the judges and they thought he wasted the opportunity. I don’t think so. He wanted to ask how to use the khus root, that was his main reason. He also got another tip about how to make the black sesame crisp. His kulfi wasn’t very kulfi like because he didn’t have enough time to reduce the milk, and he added egg to hasten it. The judges didn’t even like the halwa much.

I think they were expecting that Kunal cook something difficult side-by-side whilst they converse and taste. LOL, tbh, I was also thinking, it's his 5 minutes, let him use it in whatever way he wants it in. 😂

Any of elements I believe can be consumed anytime. I think she did mention that they serve the soup post birth delivery. I was definitely eyeing the kheer though. 😆

Yes the jwano ko jhol is healthy nutrients and anyone can eat them but it is especially use for pregnant women after delivery coz it gives them strength but I hate the smell and taste of that soup though. About that Kheer ya and seeing her I actually want to have that Achaar so dukaan jaakar bungo lana padega.

I think this show and even forum goes gaga over plating but it's the taste at the end of the day that should be paramount.

Aruna's plate looked minimalistic, I loved her plate but to put miniscule pieces of two overpriced desserts and a dollop of madra is an insult to temple food cusine which is— be it langars at Gurudwaras, Nirbalya at Puri/other ancient temples, or mass services at churches or jumma services at Dargahs— about abundance, generosity and community.

If she was going with temple prasads, she should have made a thali like Santa, or at the very least paired the madra with some meetha bhaat.

Anyhow, trying to justify temple foods— a tradition of nearly thousand years— in one stingy plate was bound to fail.

I don't understand the deal with her. The show is clearly just for clout to her. She cannot even take constructive criticisms. Most probably, she would do a few cooking shows and then contest in the election from somewhere in the north. Or maybe open a restaurant that she'd not cook a dish in lol.
