Oh I should look up some Korean romcoms (films) then. Coz I have exhausted all good shows.
There is a new American film called 'That's Amor' on Netflix. Maybe try that. One of the leads is a chef, so lots of Spanish food to drool over.

Was it Seducing Mr. Perfect? It fits the description perfectly.
Have you seen a 6 episodes mini K series "Queen of the Ring"? It's a sweet romance with opposites attract theme.. Just half an hour episodes are there so perfect for binge watch too!
It's not there on netfliz or hulu but you can watch it here.

You must head straight to Hallmark then😆
Most of hallmark is too sugary for me but I liked Royal winter. It's not exactly opposites in personalities but the lead characters are really likable. They also have the best version of lavenders blue song imo.
You must've seen The proposal already? One of the better romcoms out there imo.
Now to fully timepass zone: 27 dresses, ugly truth, what happens in vegas, just my luck, holidate, after the ball.
If you have stomach to endure annoying people and still want to watch same cheese new packing(movies I particularly don't like but fall in the category) : royal treatment, wedding season, midnight at magnolia.
I'll edit add as I remember.
Isn’t the movie world packed with movies like this
Is there a romcom that is NOT based on opposites attract?
Edit: If you don’t dislike old HW movies, I can recommend couple of hilarious romcoms

Have you seen “Touch your Heart”?
Yes, my Wookie❤️❤️
I even tolerated a lil of Bad and Crazy for him. But couldn't watch the whole show.
I just started watching 'Good Morning Call'. Japanese hai. Let's see how this goes.

I am new to the K world so this is my first show of him
You must have watched shows of another Wookie too - Ji-Chang-Wook ⭐️
I recently watched K2 and whata performance, he acts thru his eyes, powerful eyes ❤️
Edit: Are you into Japanese shows too? What other languages do you watch? And how do they compare to K shows?

Omgggg! Watch "The Tale of the Nine Tailed". I fell so absolutely in love with Lee Dong Wook after watching it.❤️
I have watched Ji Chang-Wook's Suspicious Partner. It was nice in bits.
I very recently started watching Japanese shows. This is my third show. I highly recommend "The Midnight Diner (Tokyo Series)". There are 2. Watch Tokyo Series first. These are short episodics. It is brilliant. Food+good stories is the best combo ever.
The other one I watched was "The Makanai." It's about Geisha school. Very sweet.
I have also seen quite a few Chinese shows. "The Untamed" is my favorite. Xiao Zhan is bae❤️
Kdramas vs others:
1. Japanese shows (I have only seen 2) are not that glamourous. But the plus point is, they seem to be really short. The Makanai was only 8 episodes. The one I'm watching now is only 10 episodes. Kdramas' standard format is 16 episodes. Some maybe go upto 20. But rarely do they end up being 50 episodes long.
But Chinese shows go on for forever. Their standard for period dramas is 50 episodes and these are long episodes. 45 mins to 1 hr. Too much beating around the bush happens.
2. No body, absolutely no body makes better romcoms than Koreans. They have just mastered the art. The leads are so khoobsurat and most of them have very good chemistry. M sure its v difficult to be an actor in Korea. The standard seems just so high, and 98% of them can actually act. 😆
3. Kdrama se zyada khoobsurat bande nahi milenge.❤️ In a parallel world, I would add 'Oppa collector' to my LinkedIn profile. But I want a good and long career, so I wont.😆
