Yes, one of the core reasons to watch IB for as long as I did was Lafzon Ka Yeh Rishta Nahi between the OBros, Annika and then Saumya too. Without them, the show would have no meaning whatsoever.

But those times are clearly gone and now plots just enjoy pitting siblings/friends as enemies

Wish the actors in this the best on their new project/endeavour nevertheless.

I've lost my interest with these ITV plots yaar. Har show mein wahi drama, do behenein fighting over one guy

The only way I see this show being interesting is if the whole thing turns out to be a thriller move. Like the younger sister is involved in some dangerous revenge plan or something and is doing this to keep her sis outta trouble. Could give me EHT or NK vibes, like the way Avni hid her identity from Nanno and Ali to take revenge on Dayawanti.

But with this being Sicku's show, I have very little hopes of that happening

Idk why he chose this, but just the fact that he did is what I'm basing my hopes on. There must've been at least something interesting in the show/character for him to like it, right?
