Exactly... even before agreeing for marriage, meerab has decided murtasim is the only wrong in her life nd she is going through everything just because of him.

Nd honestly I am failed to understand why she holds him culprit for everything that has happened in her life.

I can take it if she dislike/hates him for the person he is. Or not liking his thinking.. every reason is acceptable but this hatred is out of my understanding.

I wish makers could come with a solid reason to create this hatred in her heart ....

To everyone discussing Meerab's actions, her character is meant to be annoying. The whole show is based on the push and pull concept. If they wanna show the Taming of the Shrew, then Meerab has to be this spoilt brat person - someone for Murtasim to tame.

Also, if seen from Meerab's pov, her anger is fully justified. Like she is allowed to be angry at life in general given the circumstances. Yes Murtasim is the wrong target here. He is at zero fault in whatever happened. But because of being a practical person, she knows she cannot do anything to maa begum or Anwar. She has no means to disrupt their life. Her easy access is to Murtasim. So, she keeps playing games with Murtasim coz that is the only way she can cause some sort of disturbance in maa begum's life also. Right now, she only sees him as a means to an end.

Is what she is doing right? NO. But at this moment, she doesn't care. She is angry. She wants to lash out. And Murtasim is allowing her the space to lash out. So she is taking this opportunity to the fullest.

This is how I am interpreting her actions right now. Yes it is annoying to watch and she does come across as rude. But if you see what she has gone through in regards to the parentage drama, you will at least get an understanding of her state of mind. Like she herself said on the walima, it is all a reaction.

I never criticised her, somebody tagged me for an opinion so I told them what I felt, I am enjoying the show.

So here the things that I actually liked about the episode.

1. Murtasim’s continued flirting in the breakfast scene. Sahi ja raha h ladka, biwi pat rahi h 😆 She even made breakfast for him.

2. Maa Begum shutting up Haya. She seems ok with Meerub’s drama as long as Murtasim is happy with her, I guess. Chalo she is not a typical saas who can’t stand that her son is favouring his wife over her. 👍🏼

3. Anwar’s genuine love & concern for Meerub is sweet. But Meerub’s anger towards him is totally justified. That father-daughter scene was good. And Anwar uncle again reminded us that Meerub will regret her actions in the future & she will lose Murtasim. 😒

4. Haya & Murtasim scene was good too. They are cousins & grew up together. It wouldn’t make sense if Murtasim treats Haya the same way Meerub does. Despite knowing about her love, he is being kind to her bcos he sees her as part of his family & wants a good life for her. I think Haya genuinely cares for Murtasim. But is not in love with him. Her feelings are mostly driven by her idolisation of him & the power/respect she will get as his wife.

5. The BEST SCENE of the episode for me was the jealousy fight scene. Meerub was clearly jealous & very angry about the whole Murtasim/Haya scene. Liked that Murtasim wanted to clear her misunderstanding & told her he sees Haya as a sister. That “uski izzat, meri izzat h” was really good. And ofcourse Murtasim’s past hint also. The real shock for Meerub will come when she’ll get to know that Murtasim actually had a girl in his life before her. Bechari faltu mein hi Haya se jealous ho Rahi h. Asli jealousy toh past wali “chahat” se hogi isko. 😆

7. As much as I hated Murtasim’s misogynistic monologue & Meerub’s reaction to it, Wahaj was really good in that scene, his voice modulation was 👏 No wonder Meerub was mesmerised listen to that bullshit. 😆 And she was so looking so sweet in her confusion regarding her changing feelings for Murtasim. The way she tried to read that book & then threw it away but still thought about Murtasim’s words was cute. ❤️

What I am saying is both actions are absolutely wrong but our outrage for the man involved was way too much than compare to the female when she did wrong. As for her being unaware, nope dear on dinner table ma begum clearly told about his allergy nd she was still adamant on him eating it. At night time too she was waiting for something to happen to him. She clearly complained that he is fine nd sleeping peacefully.

Obviously she didn't want to harm him/kill him but in her immaturity she is doing stuff which lands him in trouble or her..

Her revenge game against murtasim is baseless, i agree on that. It's simply just lazy writing. If her hate was based on the slap then that scene as well as her anger could have been justified but everyone including meerab behaves like it never happened.

On the dinning table it was purely murtasim's decision to eat the fish. He clearly knew what meerab was doing and he went along with it. She didn't force him at all. All she did was flirt with him. He clearly wanted to see meerab's reaction if he falls sick and the next morning he stated how much he liked her concern over him. So at the end it was murtasim that was manipulating the entire situation and not meerab. She is more like a spoiled brat that throws tantrum and does childish things and irritates everyone around her. She is not really capable of manipulation and playing mind games like maa begum and murtasim.
