I would encourage you to submit and not be scared of writing, but I don't want to trouble you in middle of a real life crisis. If you think you can submit, definitely do so.

If you want the detective character to be non-Bengali, you can choose it so (fictional or original). But the story should have some 'Bengali element' (eg. place, people, culture, food, practically anything)

Ram and Priya may not qualify as detective characters, because Ram is a businessman by profession and Priya is a lecturer. The detective character's profession should be be solving cases.

Nope, microtales don't need prompts. The prompts are only for ficlets.

Since all genres are allowed, your story can be of any sort. It doesn't necessarily have to focus on mystery-solving. But if you're gonna write an AU with Ram-Priya as detectives, then you're gonna have to actually focus on their detective sides too. Just mentioning that they're detectives won't cut it, since that's not what their background is 😅

I still think every ITV bahu should get a clean chit. They be detectiving so much! Apni Avni solved bomb blasts, while husband is actually the police, and let's not get into Sai-Virat dynamics as doc-police (causes Idk much about them)😆

That was just an example since their popular, I havent seen a single episode so no idea what youre talking about🤣
