Hmm, I do think that Katha and Viaan will be good for each other actually.

I think that Viaan needs someone like Katha. He used to have such regressive and unfair views on women, that his relationship would’ve never worked with anyone else. In addition, Viaan would have never changed his views if he had found another girl who shared his regressive views. There would have been no positive change to his attitude. So I think he needs someone like Katha to show him a mirror, and enable him to become a better person (which he did become). I believe that two people should be together if they can push each other to be a better person in life.

As for Katha, I also feel that she would be good with someone like Viaan. He has grown a lot following the ONS. V has motivated her to work towards her professional goals (convincing her to stay in Earthcon so that she can advance her career), and also given her the support needed in her personal life (finding Arav, etc). Also, Katha has been with Adi, who was I’m guessing a much more of a cheerful person (compared to the seriousness of Viaan), which would have suited her at that stage of her life. But now, as a single mother to Arav, I feel that a person like Viaan will be the symbol of responsibility and maturity she needs at this stage of her life.

Yes, their bond started on a rather unsettling tone (the ONS), but I am moving away from that and focusing on their growth since that incident (though I have to admit, there hasn’t been much character growth for Katha compared to Viaan 😂)

In a real life scenario of course not but this is fiction

We like the idea of two star crossed lovers conquering all the differences and hurdles and coming together

The basic idea of this story how even love can grow from dark situations
I can’t ship them rn coz katha melting this early would be very out of place even Viaan is confused so doesn’t make sense but yes in future who knows we will be rooting for them

It won’t be easy for them majorly because of trust factor but the idea that Viaan will always be there even from distance as silent cheerleader for both katha and Aarav makes me all gushy lol (Angsty Kaviaan inserted)

Viaan seems like a person who will always respect and love katha’s individuality and that modern love story which itv seems to missing will be fun to view here

What all ITV drama do we except in the 50th Anniversary party?

Lead pair's chemistry and interactions are instrumental in holding the audience's interest. Because Katha and Viaan's story is not progressing, people are feeling a disconnect.This entire week, Viaan and katha only shared screen space once and even then, they did not interact. That is not okay given that hindi serials thrive on lovestories. on top of that, they are giving us a heavy dose of ehsaan who is downright creepy.

I'm telling you, Kaviaan have chemistry and there is a compelling love story there but writers did not begin to explore it yet. They need to give us an insight into Viaan's feelings for katha and develop her character more.

Yeah with the pace that they followed in initial episodes of the show.. they were going good i too feel they wasted lot of episodes in this week with just few good scenes in it.. In this they could have shown Viaan's journey into exploring his own feelings for katha especially when his mom pointed it out in front of him.. whether he changed coz of katha.. there could have been a scene where he is thinking about whether it is just guilt or he is getting affected by her in any other way... from katha's side too...when she comes to know of Viaan's past.. She is remembering his proposal and simultaneously digging his past.. that could have joined the dots...n she could have sensed how wrong Viaan would have taken her when she asked for money in his belief.. as now she does have a slight idea of aapki kya majboori thi question which she asked him in apology episode.. there are bits n pieces in every episode but major episodes are becoming boring with repeated stuff of ehsaan -katha family meetings..

My guess is that seeing presentation video about his dad's contribution in the company will hit Viaan in an emotional way.. n he might have a breakdown which katha can witness to know hidden pain inside him.. She already had that one line - mere cards koi padta nahi scene.. She might witness entire breakdown scene of his.. to may be develop some soft spot for him..
