He wants to get close to her and wants to tame her but isn't faking it. If we forget about the slap, he is a straightforward guy and is very open about what he wants. He dont come across as manipulative and meerab hasn't done anything that makes him want to play games with her. He sees her as a spoiled brat and forgives most of her antiques easily.

But after she accepts him & sleeps with him, she will suddenly mature & be the best version of herself ie best daughter, wife, daughter-in-law etc. Totally misogynistic, but this show’s whole premise is quite misogynistic tbh.

I am torn between laughing and facepalming -- why would a drama show something stupid like this? so sleeping with your husband automatically does something that you become mature and become best bahu? 🤣🤦‍♀️

but you are right -- all indications show that they want people to think murtasim is right and justified. why do these serials keep showing that a woman who has any personality and expresses her own opinion is bratty and needs to be disciplined?? 🙄

When his sister said murtasim is the real treasure i was rolling my eyes. Meerab is someone that wanted to make a career in law and have a successful career. This girl comes and says she got a better life as a bird in a golden cage. In short she said getting married to murtasim and being the DIL of that family is her biggest achievement and the show is also gonna show that. At the end meerab is gonna be shown happy with being the wife and DIL and maybe a mother.

Well, Meerab's main problem is robbing her right of making a choice and her individuality.. everything is just imposed on her, she was put in such a helpless condition that she submitted to the decision made for her by all elders.. she's told that she has no identity as now, she's nothing more than Murtasim's wife.. the viewers see the handsome Wahaj so they think why she's doing all this as they wanna see the romance between them.. if there was some average-looking guy instead of Wahaj then this oppression would actually look like oppression to these viewers..

As for Murtasim, yes, I think he want this marriage to work, but on his and Amma Begum's terms and conditions..

I don't know what will happen in the coming episode, but a happy ending can happen only if he doesn't stop her to follow her career dreams and life choices.. and their relationship grows on give and take basis..

I think he will let her study law. Else how is she gonna met her college friend who is lattu over her? She needs to go to the city for that. What is she gonna do sitting at that haveli all day? She is already eating whatever brain is left inside the people of that house.
