to be fair, there has been plenty of news that US visa process has become longer due to backlog and especially after covid, the wait to even get an appointment is taking longer. Yes, I read this news sometime back and this does make sense but I think you're overestimating these writers 😆 these are the same writers who showed Katha learning Arabic in 30 days to check historical writings.. so mujhe nahi lagta woh itna sochte hai 😆

I wasn't paying too much attention to the details as it doesn't affect me personally but from what I do remember, even people with valid visas/green card were putting off travel to india out of fear they won't be able to go back. again, this was during the pandemic chaos and a little after. for quite some time even afterwards, people were saying it is taking longer to get appointment.

so no idea if this backlog issue has been all sorted now but just assuming that writers took inspiration from that and hence dodo is from US and cannot go back immediately. I am assuming that if dodo was able to donate, she is still an indian passport holder. there are rules and regulations on donation and I think you have to a national and resident here of some sort in order to be deemed medically fit. again, am not too sure of the details but this is my vague impression from reading news articles and oral stories.

I don't think travel restrictions are still there. I am not sure though. But makers can use this excuse for Dodo's stay in India.😃

You know many Indians mostly techies recently lost their jobs in America. Lay Offs have been going on . We will see many more will loose their jobs in near future. They have to get another job in next 3 months ,otherwise their visas will not be extended.

Pandemic is over. Now recession will hit us . ek ke baad ek kuch na kuch chalta hi rahta hei. This is life i guess.

even if they get a job in 3 months, there is so much backlog that even transfering the visa or getting extension still becomes a problem according to news.

yea, it is just one bad cycle after another. drama watching keeps us sane that things will be okay after a while.

I'm skeptical on Neeraja's story given to Katha, that she came down from US or her visa is stuck to return soon, or her sons are still in US. 😳

I feel she is very much resident of India, may or may not be from Mumbai though. If she socializes beyond Katha's society area, Neeraja can possibly bump into her acquaintances or relatives or friends that can possibly expose her fake happy abundant family life?

She might be going to her kids for the first time and as per ITV drama she will surely be some relative or abandoned by someone of these families .... Viaan , Ehsan,Garewals .....
