I actually feel bad for Yumna, Wahaj looks SO good, ki koi bhi pheeka hi pad jaata…he literally stitched this role unto himself. Don’t get me wrong, he is not convincing me to “feel” for him, but everytime he is on screen, can’t take my eyes off him. I know very well this guy is going the use and discard way. Murtasim will be justified & proven right in the end. Too many hints & dialogues for that. Fake majnu drama doesn’t fit with that.

“tum uss din iss raat ko bohot ro gi” when Meerub got Murtasim to sign those papers

“sabse pehle tum hi muh ke bal girogi” today after her dance drama

“Asli khazana Murtasim bhai h, unki kadar karo” Mariam giving gyan to Meerub today

it’s so obvious where this show is going. Meerub taking her revenge drama too far & Murtasim “the husband-cum-daddy” protecting/disciplining her & getting her to mature (which this show has directly linked to them sleeping together). As long as Meerub doesn’t sleep with Murtasim, she will keep being immature & bratty. But after she accepts him & sleeps with him, she will suddenly mature & be the best version of herself ie best daughter, wife, daughter-in-law etc. Totally misogynistic, but this show’s whole premise is quite misogynistic tbh.

If this is where the show is going, which btw is likely to, given the track record of TV shows.. then it was a waste of talent and frankly Yumna was an idiot to say yes. And Wahaj has been wasted in this role.

In the misogynistic storyline, if he acts like a good guy, gets her to relent and then she walks away there is some redemption. Otherwise it’s a waste and frankly insulting if it was all about “teaching the girl a lesson”. But yes, you may be right and I in my head have decided ki Kuch tou hoga mukhtalif….

ek second ke liye soch le, if he was not given any agency, was lied to and robbed of his family, his dreams his aspiration and forced into marriage, he would have been burning the world and we would have been there with him. All she has done so far is act like a brat that too with terrible dialogues that make no sense. They did her character bad

Ok can we talk about how only half his body fits the sofa? Like how is he even supposed to sleep on it? Lmao 🤣

As for Murtasim, yes, I think he want this marriage to work, but on his and Amma Begum's terms and conditions..

I don't know what will happen in the coming episode, but a happy ending can happen only if he doesn't stop her to follow her career dreams and life choices.. and their relationship grows on give and take basis..

they will justify Murtasim with his sad past. Only Meerub will be made to learn a lesson in humility.

tbh I don’t watch this show for any logic or moral lesson. It’s pure OTT masala show like every other itv show. That’s how I see it & have managed my expectations accordingly now.
