I had complained on this exact point that Indian law doesn't require a man to be married to adopt a male child. That's exclusive requirement if he wants to adopt a female child. Laws of Ashram cannot supercede national laws.

But I have not received any response on this... I did receive on surrogacy one which I have shared.

Just saying that maybe adoption and bigamy are not that important as per IBF.

Why is that? It’s absurd lol how come misinformation wrt adoption is unimportant for IBF? Adoption is also a sensitive issue. Bigamy is a criminal offence, so it’s weird that they’re not bothered or don’t have a problem telecasting it so nonchalantly: kuch bhi nonsense reason this👎🏼

I don't know... I am just saying it happened...

Lot many filed for illegal adoption process... but no one got response.

As for bigamy... ITV is full of it... and Ghum took proper care... I have been saying this since leap... they did show someone telling V that Sai is not in 'alive' list. V couldn't find her and found her saree piece at cremation ground. Also the person burning them said 2 bodies were so disfigured that recognition was not possible.

I had made this point that it means V will assume her dead. Technically it doesn't happen... in such cases they preserve the body for later identification... but this is Ghum... they wanted to show separation and leap hence they played this trick.

Like in usual ITV shows.. Sai was not missing... they showed her assumed dead. It's not the same.

It cleared in next few episodes why... because VP marriage valid karna tha

What was more stupid was there was no missing baby... yet V didn't search for Vinu.... but since Vinu cant speak and he is not the lead V's actions towards him do not get traction.

Someone needs to teach a good lesson to ITV. They have a free pass to do anything.😡

Had complained about the episode that aired on January 23 -- Virat and Patralekha make it seem like the surrogate mother, too, has the right over the baby because she carried him in her womb for 9 months. Pointed out that such episodes are spreading misinformation in a country where still many are not aware of surrogacy. Received an email that complaint is valid and forwarded to the channel's grievance officer.

Please file complaints to Ibf, a friend spoke to them and they said if complaints are filed against the surrogacy aspect they will take action as it is wrong.

1. illegal surrogate cannot adopt the same child they have given birth to

2. Cara law states no person with a criminal record is allowed to adopt

3. Post delivery of the child the surrogate has nothing to do with the child whatsoever

4. A mentally unstable person is not allowed to adopt

I’m not going on bigamy right now cause ibf wont consider it since itv has a history of it but surrogacy they will so I urge people to concentrate only on the surrogacy aspect and complain using that.

feel free to add your points here for people to file complaints especially the episode numbers where they have gone against surrogacy

Sai was practising as a doctor ..even if you are declared dead and you come back alive .. that second marriage is invalid because your first spouse is alive

Second Sai gave birth to a child in hospital .. how can she be declared dead .. if Savi ka birth certificate was made .. was it written as mother is dead

Virat got married to patralekha on false assumption and that’s invalid

Exactly, N Sai was practising as Dr.Sai joshi only. She did not hide her identity. So IBF doesnt consider it as violation of law. Thats why I didnt get any response on the adoption invalid mail. Its the right thing just to stick to the point of surrogacy as it was illegal.

See bigamy happens blatantly all over India .. till Sai files a case against Virat .. he will not be arrested ..

We know so many public servants .. big chief ministers who have 2 wives .. or even more .. and they are unofficially accepted because first wife has not complained..

But second wife has no legal sanctity

He ran and searched for P even though he didn't know where she went.

But when Sai left, he knew she went to GC. He could have gone and stopped her instead of badmouth ng about Sai with his mom and P.

He's least bothered about Sai.

With P he's agressive in his search.

Even though we all agree that it was wrong in reql life ... they planned it expecting all this... makers wanted to show some reasoning to VP marriage... hence this plot..

It is pretty clear they don't want even Sai question this... hence she calls him ex husband. It's clear they want to show VP as valid marriage.... 😔
