Pathaan is lighting up the box office in circuits which were considered DEAD. The film opened in United Kingdom to a huge response on Wednesday and was doing unbelievable business but what happened on Saturday just leaves you gobsmacked as the film collects £550k and this could edge up as final numbers get updated.
This is a market driven by loyalty cards and is down in the dumps as films fail to match the business that was happenning 15 years ago. This Saturday number of Pathaan can only be put into perspective with lifetime business of other films. KGF2 (hindi) was £539k, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was £420k. Sooryavashi was £584k and the biggest of the lot Brahmastra was £1038k which will be around 3 days of Pathaan.
