John really was a treat to watch...the man and the character! These smirks, coolness personified...he really was on top of his game...and then the 'chemistry' with Pathaan/SRK...I found that even better than the Hrithik-Tiger vibes. I think, SRK is one of those rare superstars who deliberately makes shine his co-stars. The kind of praise, John, Deepika, Dimple and also Ashutosh Rana legitimately get, makes me think so.

This written, I really enjoy prerna's post because I adore the meta-level of this movie ❤️...it seems to me like Pathaan is told in a way that not only SRK shines and handles his action-focussed role well (for a first full-fledged action movie even very well) but it is also a vehicle to make some statements about the man SRK and his mindset.

I imagine how Aditya and Siddharth sat together to mentally go through SRK's life, sayings and filmwork to gather how they could make their view on SRK visible and audible in Pathaan.

What do you (prerna and others) think about that?

That had to be well executed! And his dialogues ( these are key 🔑 things w/Salman and his audiences 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏.

wat_up, I wrote about my enthusiasm already twice (but maybe not here?). Not only was this kind of cameo a fabulous idea, it also oozed the special bond both have...and was FUNNY!

I hope - from my heart - that both get a really entertaining spy-action movie together (please with Kat and Deeps in meaty roles, too...like four musketeers) ... with lots of their special humour/banter! Rumour has, shooting will start next year... *sigh*

As for Pathaan...the last fight (such a potent adversary!) may have drained him, even got him wounded...but in the end, he could enjoy love and celebration .

I wonder what the outcome of the long fall will be...

NA mein if you buy any movie ticket you can enter any shows/auditorium, no further check. Today there was 1 person sat on the entrance stair and watched it. I guess must’ve arrived a little late, no tickets, bought some other movie ticket and came to our audi. And this is in NA. Empty or half empty my @$$. 🤣

They are here from many years and trying hard to spread hatred😆

Kinda petty but it distracted me too much to stay (because the seat I pick are usually dead center so best seats and because I didn’t know what seats were already reserved, I had to choose bad seats).

Also my popcorn voucher didn’t work because the cashier lady didn’t know how to work the register.

I’ll have to come back some other time but LMAOOOO today wasn’t the day. Ironically, if I went to my other theater (10 mins away), I don’t think there would have been any issues.

How can you just give up your seat like that? Was it a better seat than theirs? Did it cost more? You shouldve whooped their ass even if it wasnt. I am sure the audience wouldve found it more entertaining than the actal movie.🤣

It was free for me since I had a voucher but otherwise the same price. They just couldn’t read and they sat a row in front or something. But then others sat in their seat so everyone would have had to move.

the movie has also started because the cashier didn’t know how to apply a popcorn voucher either. If I got my food, I would have stayed and fought LMAOOO. But na seat, na kuch kahne so I became weak.

Watched it, found it mostly good. Srk is back😎

deepika was HOT, John was ok.

my problem was that story line felt choppy, still confused on why Deepika charecter went back and forth, was she ISI or Ex-ISI ?

but execution of the action and fight scenes was amazing. Loved all the aerial shots, I forgot that I was watching Bollywood movie.

The best thing was Srk-Salman scenes, especially the finale scene ..what a dig at all the new generation actors 😆
