Not bad, IMO. The bg parts for the 1st three contestants were bit dramatized but the food judging parts were tolerable (except for the third contestant who was explaining about the bengali styled congee, felt she was bit annoying lol but food looked nice). Avinash Patnaik is not that bad of the contestant (pretty chilled & bg also focused on culinary aspects so kinda watched his part with more interest) and his dish was probably the coolest in comparison to other contestants, he got direct entry to MC kitchen.How was the first episode?

Even I felt the same and I hope they don’t keep bringing stories like other reality shows and focus is just in food.
