And are these occupancy percentages really that good?

BMS only shows adv booking status. There's something called spot booking. The record adv booking till date is some 20cr+ .Only 20-30% people book tickets in advance. And today is 3rd day.

BMS charges extra tax and Pathan ticket rate is already high.

P.S. I watched Pathaan today in Cinepolis . afternoon show with more than 80% occupancy

Last night, Lucknow had occupancy of 90%

Paytm/BMS is for advance booking. Are u forgetting the fact that there are ticket counters in movie theatres? People go n buy tickets directly before watching a movie.
