Indroducing Myself to the Forum Members

Hello Everyone,

Before everyone starts to wonder who popped up in the discussions all of a sudden, I thought I would introduce myself here. I didn't really watch any of the episodes but was following the promos all the while. So, I kind of knew the major twists of the story. And like everyone I was waiting to see the apology scene, I was more intrigued in the execution of it (may be a detailed post on it later on). And when saw the promo, just a glimpse of the apology scene, I was so impatient to wait till 8.30 pm. And what a scene, what acting! I didn't think the actual apology in the episode could be better than it glimpse they showed in the promo, but it was so so so immersive and I am out of words really. And as my habit goes, my first instinct was to search for the revelation scene in the Turkish original and well, let's just say there is a hell and heaven difference when the male lead asks why didn't you tell me you needed help for your child.

And after yesterday's episode I had to come check the discussions on the forum. A good apology scene has been my achilees heel, for as long as I remember and I do believe people genuinely repenting should be given second chances (may be more on this on the relevant discussion threads already initiated here). I could be making some unpopular opinions as well, so apologies in advance if anyone gets hurt by them or it makes them see the lead in a different light and spoil the show for them. I will put a tag unpopular opinion before such posts so that you can skip if you want.

I am new too. And like you, I also started watching the show after apology promo.😆

At first I was not intrigued to watch show. I am neither a fan of actors nor I knew storyline but then my mother in law was watching from starting so I had few glimpses sometimes. I started liking the acting of both the leads then I searched for it and found out its a remake of turkish show. I read the concept and I liked it.

And once I saw the promo i was so intrigued that i watched all the episodes😆

Hey, good to know that scene has same impact on you. I still haven't been able to watch all the episodes even in fast forward mode.

Second chance ... whether it should be given or not is depend purely on the “ harm , betrayal or whatever damage is done !

Context of this story

Katha and Viaan both had a chance to avoid

Katha was trapped and helpless but Viaan was not !

What was Katha’s helplessness was Viaan’s advantage !

Still Katha cam forgive him if he is really mean it because he did what his indecent proposal without knowing the reason but that too not an excuse !

In real life it is more complicated

Example “ domestic violence “ If one of the partner (!it can be male or female) turned out to be abusive and manipulative shouldn’t given second chance , because they will repeat .

Partners weakness is the other person’s strength

We can't judge every situation under measurment

A person must be given second chance purely depends on the uniqueness of the incident

I am a person who doesn’t believe mending ties of broken cords , friendship or relationship

Me ... I will forgive and move on , let the other person be happy and peaceful but no second chance ( extremely rare

If I am not strong my children will turn out to be weak

I can’t preach them , but can show what I would fo

Still second chance can be given “ when accidentally commuting some thing , let it be death”

Blaming a situation created by foolish actions ... that can be forgiven but not premeditated crimes

Do I make any sense to you
